Apple Seeds Revised Third Beta of macOS Sequoia to Developers

I don't think there is much point to this beta except to put developers on par with public beta testers who get build 24A5289h - up from 24A5289g

I'd be surprised if there are any major changes yet.

how about emoji's?

i rarely use them so i'm not likely to notice

but apparently the new ios 18 revised beta 3 which has build 22A5307i - up from 22A5307f - had some changes to emoji

so were there emoji changes in sequoia beta 3 revised version too?

Likely the same was applied to revised MacOS beta 3 seed as mentioned here for IOS/IPadOS 18 revised beta 3 seeds.

if so it seems a rather extreme measure to require a 14GB download just to change the emoji's!

Am I the only person for whom this updated DB never showed up? I've had Software Update phone home a few times today, but it never detects the new beta.

I sometimes toggle the beta source to off and then back to PB or Dev using Apple ID (Account). There is no more profile so it's just mostly if it is sensing your ID and offering the OTA when it has time enough to make it accessible.

I just put 2 on my desktop.

Does anyone know how they detect the location ?
Does it work with a VPN ?

I tried it with setting the location in system settings to USA and using a VPN with USA on both devices and it did not work.

So, like @PeeWee1963 said it must be the address in the Apple-ID.

You need to be logged into a US Apple ID on both - Mac and iPhone to get it working, no VPN needed/helping.
There is a specific thread on that forum iPhone Screen Mirror works with US Apple Account (EU)

I am having trouble installing this....am on beta 3 from last week. The update is found, it downloads the close to 15gb, goes into preparing update.... The preparation portion fails and I have to start all over. Tried it a few times... Anyone else?

happened to me but only once.

second time it worked

but i had full installer ready in case it failed again

if it is failing more than once i suggest you use full installer
