Safari feels battery life.
The Safari battery life i
same. both my 7+ and Watch (Series 0) had absolutely horrendous battery life. hoping for some serious improvements here...
My phone, pad and watch all poop out pretty quickly, but this always happens. battery life in the betas are low. It does extra checking, much extra logging in the console, and so on. They take the debugging cruft out later in the cycle.
[doublepost=1498091575][/doublepost]Tell you what I'd like on iOS 11 - CarPlay! By that I mean the CarPlay interface right on the phone or pad. My car won't take CarPlay and its radio is extremely difficult to remove. [2007 Acura TL] This would be great, but I don't see them doing it because it would affect income from Pioneer, Alpine and other makers of CarPlay hardware.

Another new feature in this beta, now you can easy connect Airpods using iPad, this feature was available for iPhone only before this version.

I can no longer pull up control centre from safari. Is it just me or a bug?
Yes, I need to pull it 3 or 4 times until it works, this happens on Safari with iPhone only, there is no issue with iPad.

gents after the update please restart back your phone. the control center is actually fast even compare to 10.3.2
also, BT. i went my BT settings and manually connect from there.

Battery stayed at 100% for ages (30 mins or so) then went down to 92% in about 10 mins on my 6 S Plus. Probably need to completely drain it and recharge. Periscope still crashes upon startup. Flipboard now working OK. Strange echo when I get txts etc. BMW connects OK with BT (2015 320d). My banking app actually works as previous brand new iOS beta's have broken it. So pretty good beta's for me so far.

Beta 2 seems to run much cooler which should translate into better battery life. Will report back findings after a couple of days of regular use.

WTF are you yapping about boy ?

As an iOS dev I was looking for feedback.. Go back to you mama’s basement and let the men talk!

Go on..shoo...

I'm old enough to be your dad and you're no dev if you're scared about installing a Beta.

Can't get the OTA update to install. Keeps failing after its downloaded. I have restarted the phone, closed all apps, deleted and re-downloaded the profile but it still won't install. There doesn't seem to be a download I can apply through iTunes on the dev portal. Any ideas?

Ignore, I realised that the restore images are probably the itunes version of beta2. That and my phone actually decided it could install it OTA on I reckon the 25th time of asking.

I'm just a bit surprised it's this bad, though. Early betas of previous versions never were this harsh on my devices - and I'm talking about ALL of my devices. I don't know if maybe something is up with the way it's syncing some of my notifications/data (Exchange perhaps??), but something is definitely up, as my 7+, iPad Pro 10.5, and Watch (s.0) are all getting maybe a half-day of usage, at best, before needing a recharge. And I know it's something about Watch OS 4 that has been a problem on that device, as I needed my Watch replaced due to the rear sensor coming off last week, so the replacement had 3.2.2 on it and it's working significantly better so far - only a 7% drain in 3 hours with nominal usage, which is maybe a tad faster than normal but pretty good still. I was losing 20% in that amount of time last week, and needed juice by 2pm. Before this all started, I would get through a full day and overnight with the Watch - probably about 28 hours in total before actually hitting Power Save Mode.

Anyone else having a problem closing apps? I’m on an iPhone 7 Plus.
Absolutely why I moved back to IOS 10 on my main device and left the latest beta on my other testing devices. Apps do not close properly. I've seen this issue on 7+ and SE.

Yep. Sometimes they close other times they pop right back up again when i hit the screen or home button. Pretty annoying but not sure if I'm annoyed enough to go back to 10. Last time I rolled backwards my iCloud keychain, and Safari data was all missing and I cant afford that either. That's what I deserve for putting a dev beta on my main device. ;)

I installed beta 2 on my iPhone 7, iPad Pro, and 1st Gen Apple watch last night. The iPhone and iPad seem to be working well. However, the Apple Watch is draining battery like crazy. I took it off the charger at 8am this morning, and by 10am it was at 40% battery left. FYI

Yup, that's how it was on my Watch too (series 0) with b1. I actually had it replaced last week because the rear sensor came off (again), so got a 'free' downgrade to 3.2.2. Reading about the experiences with b2 so far are leading me to consider holding off until something is fixed...

Eh, would’ve had a field day but don’t wanna give ya a virtual heart attack!

‘Scared of installing a Beta’ LOL .. Thanks for the laugh!!

Do not disturb while driving is a very handy feature it’s going to save lives for sure. Tested it out it works as advertised. What a great idea.
