Well maybe 21G1925 is stable enough not to need a new RC.

In any case since there is at least an RC this indicates apple intends to make a public release of 12.7.2 maybe with that build or one slightly higher.
Foremost, they need to fix the bug potentially bricking M1 machines with screen refresh rate set to anything other than 'ProMotion'!

I would wager a healthy bet that if this site gave its users a poll, asking them if all "seeding" articles should vanish forever, over ninety percent of them would vote yes.
I would personally prefer them combined into a single article for betas released on the same day.

However I'm aware that some people wouldn't like that, it might make searching less effective, might make the comments harder to follow, etc.

Why the querying about Monterey MacOS 12.7.2 RC 1 build 21G1925 released on Oct 26 for a M1 based Mac instead of just updating to something more current like Ventura or the more recent Sonoma 14.1? It's likely been fixed by much newer OSs.

It is not just for that model. People have Macs that can not go past Mac OS 12.

why does stuff like this obligate an OS update instead of being delivered as app updates via their own store?

The new feature for iMessage looks interesting but, alas, iMessage is in the process of being forced to become just an Android message app, and iOS just another Android variant by EU bureaucrats.
This is much better for everyone. When migrating from or to Apple, you have more freedom. And freedom is something Apple want to give. You have to be stuck at them. So this is much better for everyone. Think it over. See the possibilities.

This system is so vagabond that in my iMac 2019 (i5 and, believe me, 40gb RAM memory!!), it takes hours to open to a grey screen, after that it takes a century to show my pictures on background and the Dock, then another century to show the taskbar and the external devices. Really, previous OS like Ventura Monterrey etc weren't much better. Today I'm running smoothly the old and good macOS Mojave.

Anyone else seeing Control Center claim that "Siri & Dictation" are active, with a purple dot? I'm not actually sure what that means, I guess listening for the activation phrase without fully activating the microphone. If I actually dictate, it turns orange instead of purple.

I feel like that didn't happen before 14.2 Beta (23C5041e).
