The bug can be experienced when using the pinch-to-zoom function on the M2 MacBook Air on any browser. The pinch-to-zoom is choppy and delayed and often doesn’t work. It’s annoying for people who need to use this function several times per day for their work.
"Any Browser"? I just tried it on my M1 MBP using Safari Technology Preview , chrome and Firefox. works great. So is it an M2 only issue?

Ugh, this update killed wifi for me on my 2017 MacBook Pro. Does not find known networks, nor search for networks, nor connect to any. Wifi within System Settings app not working also. Connects fine using ethernet with USB-C adapter.

Working fine on my M2.
Yeah, you are not alone, my wifi is not working either… Hope they fix it soon… ☹️

I also have a 2017 15" MBP14,3, but am lingering on Monty until what I thought would be the final release of Venty .3. That is, until I saw your post and HowEver's post. Any updates on your Wi-Fi issue?

I have been following any posts regarding the performance of our older MBP on Ventura before I jump. Considering this will probably be the last macOS that is compatible with our MBPs, can you provide any performance/stability issues you have had with your jump from macOS 12 to 13 on our older Intel MBPs?

@HowEver, since you have the same MBP, would you also comment on the aforementioned questions?

macOS 13 was great on my MacBook Pro until the update of this week. I submitted a bug report, but have no response on Apple side yet. 🤷🏻‍♂️

There's seems to be a security response available… Gonna try it and report back!

EDIT: it's called macOS Security Response 13.3 (a)

EDIT #2: Didn't change anything. 😔

Thanks for the effort and the reply. Please let us know if beta 3 corrects the wifi problem. And thanks for the Venty jump confidence sans your immediate issue.

Well, I guess I'll skip this beta 2 as I don't want to lose my wifi connection on my 2018 MBP.

Hi, I still have the odd wifi death on the 2017 13" MBP. As with fdolbec123, the security response update did not work, despite the hope I gave it.

Bring on beta 3 please.

I have the same problem on my 2017 iMac. Have you found any workarounds?

Same here - Submitted reporting and logs back to Apple.

After updating to the latest Customer beta, my 2017 MacBook Pro no longer detects wireless networks, but still detects wireless hardware. I made sure it wasn't my network and my other Apple devices are able to connect to both 2.4 GHz and 5.0GHz networks without issue. The Macbook detects wireless networks when booted into recovery partition but not in any user.

I attempted the following things but none of them resolved the issue:
SMC and PRAM reset
Creation of a new user
Deletion of Network preference plist files
Reinstall of macOS Ventura from Recovery partition
Creation of new network location
Deletion and recreation of Wi-Fi as a Network type
Deletion of VPN and associated profiles

Thinking it was a bad install of the beta, I restored back to the last public version of Ventura then installed the beta profile and updated using just an ethernet connection to a fiber network and the issue returned. I had to erase and do a clean restore and install of the last non-beta image. Hoping the next update fixes this but would rather not go through the hassle of restoring user files repeatedly again. Was very surprised this happened so late in the beta season.

Awesome post, thanks.

Nothing has worked for me so far, so I'm hoping the next beta fixes the wifi issue. Fortunately, I'm using a later laptop which works fine but I'd love to have my 2017 fully operational. Reported.

I have the same problem on my 2017 iMac. Have you found any workarounds?

So is the WiFi issue only for 2017 MBP? I have 2018 MBP (15", i7), and after reading issues with WiFi for intel MBP's, I have not upgraded to beta 2.
