Does FCPX play nice with this update? I don't have El Cap on a production mac but was crashing every 3-5 mins and the fonts were messed up on the time code area with Beta 1. Just wondering :) will try installing it tonight hoping for a heads up. Thanks

Anyone getting a "code already redeemed" error? (Have downloaded El Cap beta 1, but haven't had time to install on an external HD yet.

Could you please tell me how to change it?
I tried the old way (info - copy - paste) and its now working, only shows the "preview" icon.
Thanks and thats a pretty nice job.
Use this icns file I just compiled from @AngerDanger's icon (it's zipped, so make sure to extract it first). After placing it in the Resources folder, touch iTunes.app and restart to refresh the cache.

If you already downloaded it, you don't need to redeem the code, check your Purchases tab in the App Store to see the download.

IIRC, you won't be able to update from Yosemite to Beta 2 without installing beta1. So, you still have to install beta 1 on the external drive before you can see beta 2 in the update section of the App Store.

Microsoft released also an update for office 2016 which seems to have fixed the MS Word getting all pages black when selecting text.
Outlook got updated to 15.11.1 and it still has the blank folders listing on the left side - so still going to roll back to 15.10

No one mentioned that after the reboot it now estimates the time remaining to install the update? I thought that was pretty neat. Idk if that was from B1 or B2, but it's pretty neat they finally added something like that.

Ok really weird. This update is doing a firmware update on my laptop. I haven't seen something like this since Yosemite updated my 2013 Retina's firmware.

late 2011 13" MBP.

I prefer the manual update, let the Appstore/SoftwareUpdate download the files, then don't let it install the updates, locate the installer in /Library/Updates and I Install from there, I prefer the old way, it installed in place instead of the "Microsoft" kinda way it is now, it is also faster than Software Update.
Only 1 restart needed and upon restart no Install needed.

Did you try Outlook 15.11.1 on DP1 or DP2?

I might just have to do this. For some reason my machine is stuck after the second chime at a progress bar. I already logged in, it brought me here and it's just stuck.

Gonna force restart and try again. At least everything is backed up.

I can't seem to paste URL into Safari's address bar anymore. Anyone else?
