So, here I am on MacRumors just blabbing away about OpenGL ES 2.0. I use it in Android and iOS, and in iOS I opted for Metal for 8K textures. :)

And somehow, at Apple, no one wants to touch the source code for OpenGL ES.

What, did Steve seal it with a spell? Do I have to be a level 70 black mage?

I hope they improve the speed of finding files in finder. It really drags in Monterey on my 27 inch iMac.

This is all good. But broke whois. Can someone check out of the terminal?
same here, whois broken in this version beta (21C5031d)
Edit: I wanted to check previous version of whois in TimeMachine only to find out that /usr/bin doesn't go into backups :(

Not sure what's going on but the public beta 2 is not showing up for me at all?

hello everyone, so I installed the public beta profile yesterday so I could install this on my 13" m1 MacBook Pro, aut keep getting stuck at "52 minutes remaining". I tried restarting and restarting into safe mode. I also checked the activity monitor and nothing is going on. I tried using a VPN to install but the installer won't even open when I do that. Any advice please!aa

I ended up get the installer directly from Apple, and it did take forever, getting stuck at 52 mins as well, so I rebooted and it cleared it up.

I'm trying to get it through the App Store as well but when I click "get" it opens up the software update in system settings and it just sits there searching haha.....

At the moment I will be staying with Big Sur. Tried Monterey had issues with some things mentioned here, went back and will wait for fixes or maybe macOS 13 or whatever they number it. Wish Steve would come back from the dead.

I'm seeing a weird shift of image compared to the physical screen on an i9 MBP. Reset NVRAM did not change this.

Some pixels "lost" on top and left sides.

Odd...
