Im on the current public beta. When 14.3 goes live to everyone on Monday, do I remove this beta profile from my phone and then download 14.3? Or do I just leave this beta profile on there until the next updates?

I’ve just started hearing the term ‘release candidate’. Never heard it before this week. Have I been a bit slow? If I have, please accept my apologies for my tardiness.

You can do either. If you remove the beta profile you just won’t see any notifications for further updates until they are officially released from Apple. If you keep the beta profile you will continue seeing updates in the Software Update section of settings. It’s up to you.

It’s up to you. The differences are likely to be trivial and won’t affect the user experience.

Yet, I always do, to have the latest and greatest, even though I have never observed any difference.

If you do, you’ll have to re-install the beta profile if you want to keep getting the betas. This only takes a minute, as you probably know.

[Oops, I just saw that @Bawstun already answered your question, and perfectly well.]

Does this update fix the battery drain reported in 14.2 particularly for older devices?

Features, features, features...don't they care about bug fixes any more?

For many people, wi-fi and mobile data have been unreliable since iOS 14 first came out. Pathetic.
Well, there are big fixes that are mentioned. Whether or not they are the fixes that different people are looking for, that's somewhat different.

Thanks. I removed the beta profile, restarted and was on the official 14.3 in 30 seconds. This is sure easier and more enjoyable than it was to try and get Android software updates early back in the day ha
