Yes just came up. People don't seem to realize that larger packages take longer to show up on Apple's servers. For M1 Macs it's 2.17 GB download. ;)
My Sonoma RC2 update is much smaller. 460.9MB. That's for an intel 2018 mba.

By contrast the Monterey 12.7 release updating from the 12.7 RC3 is taking forever. It downloaded the full 11GB installer. That's on another mba. The RCs were much quicker.

This bugs me so much. If I’m going to change the alert tone on my iPhone, I need it to match on my computers too. (And crazy we’re up to watchOS 10 and you can’t customize a single sound on the entire device.)
Agree.
Not to mention, still not being able to customize the default notification sound for apps that don’t have their own.

Hello. I apologize to everyone if it's not the right place to ask.
Could anyone tell what are the calendar and reminders snooze options in MacOS Sonoma?

I just upgraded from RC1 to RC2 (23A344) and the weirdest thing happened. It kicked off the upgrade as usual, asking for my password before doing so. After it had seemingly restarted a couple of times I was prompted with the Setup Assistant asking for my Apple ID. Weird, but okay, it can happen, it's still pre-release software after all.. But after I skipped it (since my account is already linked to Apple ID) I was logged straight back in, without having to enter my password or even Touch ID. I've also got FileVault enabled, but I didn't have to unlock that after the upgrade finished either.

Did anyone have something similar happen? I'm on a Macbook Air 15" which was bought through the Apple refurbished program.

Does anyone know if this version fixes a USB-C dongle bug where monitors will randomly sleep until the screen is switched off/on again?

(Edit: Was going to mention firewall bug is fixed, someone beat me to it)
