Wait, that was a bug? All this time I thought it was self inflicted, no wonder the radio goes on full blast using CarPlay, lol.
i think its a bug, because i never had that before. Also media volume is just fine, its only affecting notifications sounds.
Im using the silent mode for now, because its quite frustrating when typing in something and the typing sounds are on max, or when you receive a notification.
Already reported it through the feedback assistance.

Seems only iOS has this, my iPad Pro M1 is not affected by this with the latest builds of 16.5

Notification have become irregular.
However the volume on Watch OS is maxed out...for some reason

I didn't do it because the e-mail for my personal AppleID is not the same as my Dev Apple ID.
Now that Apple made this change, it gets more difficult to try the Dev Beta OS Releases on my personal devices.
You still can. While signed into your primary Apple ID for iCloud, you can go into General>Software Update>Beta Updates, tap Apple ID, and choose “Use different Apple ID”. Then, sign in there. They added that during the iOS 16.4 beta for people who do not use the same Apple ID for personal and developer.

Even with this RC 2, the Apple Weather app shows the wrong weather conditions & forecast. It’s the fault of iOS 16 because my wife is still on iOS 15.7.1 & conditions & forecast are spot on. Thank God for Accuweather that I can have on my watch complication, which is always correct.

It’s things like this that have not been addressed by Apple that has caused a majority of trust I used to have in Apple to disappear. If there is no Mini in future hardware releases, I am definitely moving over to an Android flip phone. Google weather is good.

I see no such problem. Looking at various USA locations using RC2. Since we don't know your approx. location there is no way to verify if it pointing to incorrect location. Yes I heard of some EU location issues, but since you mention Accuweather which locally cannot discern the correct zip code around Silicon Valley I can't help but laugh you consider that at all better.

We both were sitting together outside with location access providing the same source for data. Her’s was right & mine was wrong. Accuweather may not be as robust as a complication on the watch vs Apple weather, but Accuweather’s conditions were correct, making it better than Apple weather in the complication conditions for iOS 16.

Have been having the same problem with the weather app on my IP14 PM. Have had issues on and off since somewhere around 16.3 betas(?). Been really bad on these 16.5 betas. I can compare the local NBC5 app weather (which IS accurate) with the Apple Weather app and see - for example - overcast sky (NBC5) versus thunderstorms (Apple Weather).
Come on Apple, this is one of your baseline apps - it should just work by now.
And to those ready to sound off because “this is a beta”, please don’t bother 😜

On RC2, Apple weather shows it’s been cloudy when the sun has been shining beautifully all day today. All other aforementioned apps have said sunny, with Accuweather even going more specific showing “intermittent clouds” when these were rolling through.

Pfhahahahahah

Pretty sure I made a joke somewhere on these forums about Apple releasing more "Pride" wallpapers in future updates.

Priorities!

Apple Weather has not been very good in the general release versions.

It is very often missing the weather alerts/notices issued by the meterology offices. I've reported this to Apple multiple times in multiple versions of iOS and still nothing. The Weather Channel app is much more reliable in indicating and showing when an weather notice/alert has been issued by the local or national offices.
