You can't hide non-downloaded music completely but you can restrict it to only downloaded music by selecting that in the Music App. If it doesn't appear for you then edit the main menu, Playlists, Artists etc. one of the options will be Downloaded Music. This will only show downloaded music.

Thanks. That isn't what I was hoping for... I don't understand why they would remove this option. I have a lot of purchases that I have no desire to see or download to my phone.

Actually it takes just a bit to get used to.

"Hey Siri read my new messages."
"Hey Siri reply"
"I can' talk right now - driving"
When asked if Siri should send message say "yes"
Yet an automatic reply feature would be even simpler.

But would be it better to the alternative - not texting when you are driving?

Maybe that's why Apple doesn't want to implement even more features that could potentially distract you from driving.

And seems like that's the very thing that would be for--an automatic reply while you are driving so that you aren't distracted by the message or replying to it.

GM on the way. Date please?
Well if we knew that then we could guess the iPhone release date :D

The best guess as to when the GM will come out will be sometime between now and a little before the release of the iPhone 7. (Most likely the keynote).

Also since you sound more like a public beta user and not a developer, keep in mind that previous GM builds have not been the final build for release and have been patched with secondary GMs. Just be patient.

I guess. It adding marginal use like that isn't their thing.

If you want to not answer things pre-emptively how about just turning the phone off or saying "hey Siri enable airplane mode"? It would seem the same solution.

Clearly not as a big point behind it all is the automatic response back which wouldn't happen with airplane mode or the phone being turned off.

Dark mode?

Feel like this needs to be asked every time a new update is released.

They’ve added Night Shift. As soon as that was added I figured Dark Mode isn’t nearby. Also,I feel like that would have been a big enough feature they would have talked about in the keynote, not just randomly added it in the beta updates like the lock sound/haptic feedback.

beta7 has fixed an issue with the volume of the bedtime alarm. It is now loud enough!
I think that the whole point of the bedtime alarm was that it gets louder the longer it plays. It doesn’t sound like it’s any louder.

It stayed quiet for me and didn't get louder in beta 6 - it beta 7 it works well. Also for me the entire clock app is in dark mode. I don't get an alert 15 mins before bedtime though like it says.

Before this speedy update, my iPhone 6 wouldn't mount in Windows 10 (it just didn't show in the This PC window), and now it does, although it may take a couple plug-and-unplug maneuvers.

This (among other things) could explain that...

I have a question to ask you guys, though: do you think it's normal to be able to start the Camera.app from the lockscreen without the need to go through TouchID?

I know it makes for quicker grabs, but still, imagine: someone pulls a prank on you by "borrowing" your phone unbeknownst to you, taking a few less-than-candid pictures of, say, an unkown person with little in the way of clothing, then returns your phone (again without you knowing the phone was gone in the first place) and leaves you to explain to your significant other what said pictures are doing on your phone...? :(

Or am I just being paranoid...?

Strangely with the 7th beta I don't have any notification anymore when I receive a message
The message is there on the lockscreen but it doesnt ring and the screen doesn't wake up. No problem with Beta 6.

It must be a bug with the "do not disturb" mode , when it is activated sometimes the little moon doesn't appear on the top of the screen

Has anyone else noted the following?

When Apply Pay is activated from a terminal, when trying to change cards, without touching the home button, it will authorise with the default card. I've had this happen twice.

guess I don't understand the need to 'non-reply' to an unknown message immediately rather than 'actually reply' with with Siri then or by getting the message later.

Seems like a niche feature to me.

Is their any notable cosmetic change in battery icon, network or wifi icon etc?

In iOS 10 not in this particular update.

We have camera access from lock screen since iOS 5 I think.

I'm sure you're right, and again, I understand it helps taking quick snapshots, but I still think it's not very safe. Now that TouchID is around, maybe Apple could see to it that you must unlock your phone before you can take a picture or a video.

My two cents...
