Hopefully the inability to add new cards into Contacts on M1 Macs will be fixed. My Contacts app in my early 2015 Air is fine under 11.2.3 but my wife is unable to add contacts into her new M1 Air.
Never had a problem adding or removing contacts with Big Sur on M1 Mini or any of the betas thus far.

Hopefully it fixes the terrible battery life on my M1 pro, using safari nothing else open, brightness 4-5 bars, 4 hours usage, 42% percent left.

Last year 10.15.4 was released on 24 march
The year before 10.14.4 on 25 march.
And now, already in the second week of april, we are still waiting.
And High Sierra was a significant more stable system than Big Sur.
I am still hoping...
Just an opinion but if memory serves, High Sierra was one of the lowest periods of Apple's software QA. There were several major bugs if I recall. One of them was if you left empty field for administrator password it would pass as valid. I might be wrong but didn't they even say they'll look into their QA process back then?

Anyway, High Sierra was the only release that upon upgrade (from Sierra) bricked my Mac and I had to reinstall OS.

Hidden functionality until mouse over is the type of dumb thinking from the Johnny Ive era where everything was about look and screenshots, not usability
Couldn't agree more. Can't count the number of times I've had a novice user (especially an elderly one) just flip out in disgust when I tell them there is a hidden toolbar on a webpage or an email that only reveals itself when hovering the mouse over the (not even consistently placed) hidden area. A truly user-hostile UI element...

I can add contacts on M1 MBA without any problem..
Thanks for the responses! Trying to figure this one out. Command N for new card > type in first name (all is good so far) > type in last name and bang - new card completely disappears either before finishing typing or when moving to next field. Her machine is a new M1 Air. No third-party apps, etc. Frustrating.

Can somebody explain to my why Apple is still bundling OS updates and software updates? Every other company stopped doing that years ago... Wouldn't it be nicer to get stuff like Apple Music updated through App Store, so bugs can be fixed quickly, and serious OS changes don't get lost among "added a new way to order buttons in Safari"? They are clearly able to push Safari Developer Preview updates separately. Not to mention updates are massive in size and take insanely long to finish, it's genuinely shocking to me.

Some say it will be released one day...
At least that's how the legend goes, according to the ancient scrolls...
I have been experiencing certain issues lately. The main thing is that my phone will sometimes just freeze in the settings app. I have restarted my phone but it still happens on occasions. It might be because we haven't had an update for ages now.

Anybody notice an issue with the close buttons on notifications sometimes disappearing or not accepting the click?
Now that you mention it, yes it has happened once with me.

Build 20E5229a
Just a question. What is that?

Stereo homepods still not working great
More issues. Maybe try unplugging and plugging your HomePod back in. That helps with my HomePod mini.

Just installed and it works great so far
Thank you for the rating.

Any improvement in Bluetooth connectivity?
I have had this issue with my iMac 2019 for 7 months. Everything will disconnect for like a minute then reconnect out of nowhere. It's so weird. I have even taken my Mac apart but it still has the issues. I'm going to give it a couple of more days to rest before I ask Apple about it.

Where are AMD 6000 series GPU drivers??
You have to go ask AMD about that. But I wouldn't expect them for another couple of months.

Highly unlikely to ever come, you need to ask AMD
If they reply.

Yeah, Apple obviously lied about the M1 MacBook Pro 20 hour battery life. It only lasts like 7 hours. But my Late-2013 MacBook Pro lasts about an hour before dying.

the Support and Service tabs in 'About this Mac' are different from the one shown in the article - not sure whether this is location specific or M1 specific but for my M1 Mini I get the following:

You know I reported a notes bug all my notes just say additional text. Present in Beta 5 and 6. Curious if it will be fixed in 7.

Code in macOS Big Sur 11.3 suggests that Rosetta could be removed from some M1 Macs in some select regions after the software is released. There's a mention that "Rosetta is no longer available in this region. Applications requiring Rosetta will no longer run," but no additional information is available at this time.

I thought this was interesting. What could be a reason that Rosetta 2 would not be allowed in a particular region? I'm guessing some kind of Intellectual Property (IP) law that maybe involves Intel (x86 IP owner) and/or AMD (AMD64 owner).

I have a issue with Mac mail app on 11.3 beta 6. Everytime I send a mail it creates a "Recovered message" box on my Mac. I have tried to re-build the boxes on my account but it doesn't fixed problem. I ended up to go back to Outlook.

Can anyone confirm if this issue have Been fixed in beta 7?
