They are quite behind this year. Every spring event has been mid-late march.RC next week. New hardware releases the week after and final release of 14.5
Developers need to test RC the size of todays release is small so I am guessing this is a pre RC releaseThey are quite behind this year. Every spring event has been mid-late march.
I am hoping you're wrong and we get a final release next week. Im ready for a handful of things to be fixed (hopefully) because iOS 14 has been the crummiest release in a long time as far as all the silly bugs. And it would be nice to have mask unlock. But whats an extra week when its been an annoyance for over a year.
just don’t b**** when it actually comes out and isnt up to your standards.Just release it already!![]()
have you been able to get beta 7 to show up? neither ATV is seeing it here.Slightly off top but TVOS beta 7 is Out as well
What makes you think that I'm willing to put up with beta quality? There's nothing in my post indicating that I'm willing to accept it. I simply said people are going to complain anyway, releasing it now, would at least get rid of the people asking when it's going to be released. The last sentence in my post clearly says that "I don't care when it gets released," implying that I'm not complaining about the lack of a release. If you're willing to put up with beta quality why don't you just opt in to the public betas?

Than you. Yes, that’s what I was asking.I'm not familiar with the phrase "app grid UI" ... do you mean, not using the "App Library" and/or "Widgets"? then the answer is "yes", you can choose to not use that feature and the app layout will be essentially unchanged
How is the battery life? Is Safari snappier? LOL
That is in beta, too. The new Xcode will drop shortly before the OSs do, as apps supporting the new features cannot be submitted to MAS if they're built with a beta Xcode. No new XCode, odd.
Apple provides little to no information about what's new in a given beta, so there's no way to report on that in an article which announces a new beta. Why do these articles always start with what is new in 14.5 instead of what is new in this latest beta?
I agree soooooo much, it's annoying always having to read something we already know. Why do these articles always start with what is new in 14.5 instead of what is new in this latest beta?

And why is that Mr chicken? Not likely. 14.5 will not be released until April 24.
