someone using public beta of ios17 can we use it a daily driver ??
I mean right now i dont play any games and just use my iphone for insta and snapchat and amazon prime music
So can i use this a daily driver or wait for final release ?
I've been using it as a daily driver since beta 1 with no real issues.

That being said, you may as well wait for the public release at this point.

All right, can’t quite put my finger on it but there’s something different in Camera anyone else knows something

I’ve been running since public beta 2 (I installed developer beta 2 but had some issues I couldn’t live with so I went back to iOS 16). Since public beta 2 I’ve had no issues, even battery life has been totally fine which I thought it might be affected by love widgets but even that’s been fine. Up to you but I’ve enjoyed being on public beta for the past month or so.

Glad the 'end call' button now stays in the same spot when the keypad is opened. That was maddening in the previous beta how it moved right to where your finger had just tapped to get the keypad.

did anyone get text messages getting stuck with frozen screen in last beta? also forcing pone to restart wouldn't work.

Well, I had another bug and couple that was healed with…full reset.

I never thought that apple software become more windows like “reinstall and that will help” but i was surprised, before start using beta 17, fully reset a lot bugs that I have.

Although I go to beta 17 without reset and bugs were there, downgrade, reset and install beta 17. Not on purpose, just check how good it was and so on, you know 😊

Anyway the reason behind that ongoing bugs I explain because of hopping between beta and stable releases
This is something I used to do when beta testing on the Mac, ALWAYS reset the entire OS. But, haven’t tried that on the iPad.

I’ll reset everything once we have the RC for 17 just to see if this strange issue is resolved.

Yeah. Usually like a “day 1” patch. (gamers know all too well about day 1 patches 😭)
You don’t have to deal with day one patches if you buy games 2-3 years after their release and with a big discount on Steam.
Added bonus: all DLCs/expansions/performance updates/mods.

This is sooo true. I did recently convince myself not to buy recent games until at least 6-months after release.
