that is exactly what i was going to say. subconsciously i'm expecting to see new of this being released every morning, but they're still in the developer stage...covid and masks will end sooner than they will release the unlock with watch feature while wearing mask 😩
Also, Apple's market is not just the US, and we here in Canada are waaaayyyyy behind in the vaccine file right now.Well, I received my first of the two Moderna injections with the second not due for another few weeks. And with some variants starting to increase in parts of the US, I don't think mask wearing will not be going away any time soon, at least in some sections of the US. So release the damn update already!!
But this feature could also be helpful for when your face is obstructed somehow. The watch unlock could be a fallback.covid and masks will end sooner than they will release the unlock with watch feature while wearing mask 😩
I believe it specifically looks for masks. But this feature could also be helpful for when your face is obstructed somehow. The watch unlock could be a fallback.
Yep, downloading now. Just jumped on the PB Monday and have not encountered problems others have listed on MR. Hopefully that continues on this PB.Public's out.
Don't think I've used Siri on the phone since iOS 9 or so. Fiddled with shortcuts a bit but didn't make any real difference for me. Right now I the only use I have for it is to tell my watch to track cycling when I'm already on the bike and don't want to stop.Disabled Siri long ago. Hasn't everyone by now?
Does this update include the security fixes in 14.4.2?
Well we have in Queensland now because most of you Melbournes moved up here lol.Exactly no more mask in most places in Melbourne.
So Apple needs to change there voice assist name since it’s a female name. Not a guy name.
Why do you wait?Waiting until 14.5.1 or 14.5.2 before I start upgrading my devices from iOS 13.
A decent chunk of the population already aren’t wearing masks anymore, and a decent chunk of those never were.By the time they get this out a decent chunk of the population won't be wearing masks anymore.
Weird inertia and just to be really safe. I use to be first in line, but somewhere around 11 or 12, I started to cautiously updating. Besides, its detrimental, the device continues to work on older releases and the apps I use don't seem to be bothered either. Why do you wait?
Wishful thinking. The emerging SARS CoV-2 variants mean that we will be testing betas of iOS 15 before we are done with the Big 3 (Distancing, Masking, Washing).14.5 will be released just on time for when the mask requirements will be loosen.
I haven’t had that for a couple of betas now but it is definitely good for me in beta 6.What about lags/stutters when swiping up to switch b/w apps or to close them?
