I'm seeing two issues on 10.12.4 that I've been experiencing… I'm not testing 10.12.5, so if anyone notices these there, please chime in…
1. I routinely use the Emoji & Symbols window (Edit:Emoji & Symbols -ControlCommandSpace) to insert Emoji in Messages and Tweetbot. If you open the window, and double-click a glyph, it should get inserted into any active text field. Worked fine under 10.12.3; often fails with no insertion on 10.12.4. (I am going to reboot to see if it miraculously returns after.)
2. I use Top Sites as my default New Window in Safari. It is typical that I will open a Top Site, browse, and ten two-finger swipe back to Top Sites to click another site to browse. This works for an indeterminate amount of time, and then stops working. Clicking on any Top Site just does nothing. Moving the cursor over a corner activates the X|Star flag. But clicking on a site does not load the site. Closing the window and opening a New Window (populated with Top Sites) works as expected. This has been an issue since i first started running 10.12 (10.12.2, I think).

I've not filed Radars on either issue, yet.

Apple today seeded the third beta of an upcoming macOS Sierra 10.12.5 update to developers, one week after seeding the second beta and three weeks after releasing macOS Sierra 10.12.4, which introduced Night Shift for the Mac.

The third beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.5 can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store.

According to the release notes accompanying the beta, the update "improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac."

Apple's release notes don't often provide a lot of insight into what's included in new beta software, so we don't know what features or bug fixes might be included in the 10.12.5 update.

No notable changes or major bug fixes were discovered in the first two betas, but should anything pop up in the third macOS Sierra 10.12.5 beta, we'll update this post.

Update: Beta 3 is also out for public beta testers.

[doublepost=1492803291][/doublepost]I just upgraded to 10.12.5 beta, and can confirm that it fixes the "USB headset" problem that was introduced in 10.12.4. Some USB headsets that worked fine with 10.12.3 became unusable with 10.12.4. The sound was very choppy.
