Apple today seeded the third beta of an upcoming tvOS 16.2 update to developers for testing purposes, with the beta coming one week after Apple released the second beta.

Developers can download the tvOS 16.2 beta by downloading a profile onto the Apple TV using Xcode.

tvOS updates are often minor in scale, focusing on internal bug fixes and improvements rather than notable outward-facing changes, but there are some noteworthy features in the tvOS 16.2 update. It adds support for the new Home app architecture, which is designed to make Home setups faster and more reliable.

tvOS 16.2 also adds a new Siri voice recognition feature, allowing the Apple TV to recognize each person in the household by voice, swapping over to the appropriate profile. This makes it easier to switch between Apple TV users, getting to the correct music, TV shows, recommendations, and more. Voice recognition supports up to six family members.

There are no new release notes for this beta 3 software update. I wonder if the 128 GB not recognized bug is fixed regarding reports of it operating like its only has 64 GB. .

Anyone know if the Top Free and Top Paid apps have the "see all" after the 15th entry in the tvOS App Store with the new beta? tvOS 16 removed it, but it may only be missing in the US for some reason, so I am assuming it is a bug.

App discovery is almost non-existent prior to this bug with the horribly designed tvOS App Store, so having the top 200 was very helpful to find apps. There are hundreds and hundreds of apps for tvOS, but because of the App Store design, people can only browse about a few dozen.

I reported the bug using the Apple Feedback, but I am not sure if anyone at Apple even bothers looking at the tvOS feedback.
