I've been having an issue with 10.15.5 where it doesn't automatically go to sleep after the 10 minutes of inactivity I have my Mac set to.
Hoping they fix this bug.
Thanks for the tip, interestingly I just noticed when the laptop isn't connected to my 4k usb-c monitor, it is going to sleep as intended.Sounds like you might have something installed which might be keeping the computer awake.

See post #13 above.
I might go back to Catalina, have Big Sur installed now, it's locked down to the core.
Anyone got a build#?
Thanks!Public beta is 19G60d
Mojave. The new snow leopard?
Exactly. It doesn’t exactly same (remember zero new features on Snow Leopard?), but stability and compatibility wise, it’s stellar on Mojave.
I keep all my now out of support and supported Macs on Mojave so far. No hiccups, but I don’t know how long I can take since MacOS support for older OS is generally short.
Something strange also for me: Software Update is proposing "10.15.6 Public Beta 1" (but I already am running Beta 2 19G46c), in my case the message is in italian.Anyone else only seeing "10.16" as an option to install rather than 10.15.6 beta 3?
Is it worth switching from Mojave on my early 2013 rmbp 10,1? Normal routine software use...
I read the article. It clearly states for the majority of users the SSV is a good thing. The main impact is that kernel extensions no longer work without some work. So I guess you need kernel extensions?
usually about 3-6 weeks after first DEV BETA might be after dev beta 2 but could be dev beta 3 so told at WDC Its coming in July so could be anything from 10am PST tonight up to 17:00 PST July 31st.Got excited for nothing...here I thought it was Big Sur public beta. What is typical wait time for public beta?
I wonder if this will fix the random usb issues with random dropouts while using a usb-c hub?
I found that:
Using USB-C hubs for data and peripherals only work fine.
- Power supply needs to be direct (no hub)
- Video signal needs to be direct (no hub)
- Also needs to be DP or T3 (not HDMI)
I am having that issue with beta 1 of macOS 11.0 Big SurI have a Recovered file folder in my trash every time I start my Mac. This time it is ContextStorAgent.plist.IME9zHF. Is anyone else having this issue with the public beta?
