Big Sur? Public Beta sometime in July

I'd like to know where the Catalina 10.15.6 beta 3 is??? Anyone know the build#?

Looking forward to Big Sur hopefully being more stable than Catalina. Although my Catalina experience hasn't been as horrible as some other users, I'm still experiencing the occasional app crashing and kernel panic as of 10.15.5. I suspect the issue is also my aging Mac. With 8gb of ram, memory is always full.

Has the Apple Mail bug deleting messages (and reported for months) being fixed? macOS Catalina 10.15.6 will be the last update.

Unless this has major performance improvements I’m not interested. Mojave is my main OS. I wiped my Catalina partition ( keep it just for swift playgrounds and xCode) and installed Big Sur. Catalina is a bit of a dud. I think most people will skip it altogether and just go to Big Sur.

I might go back to Catalina, have Big Sur installed now, it's locked down to the core.

No Perl or Python installed by default on Big Sur right? This will be a let down for me. Yes, I can compile and install, but I'd rather know it is already there.

Mojave. The new snow leopard?

Exactly. It doesn’t exactly same (remember zero new features on Snow Leopard?), but stability and compatibility wise, it’s stellar on Mojave.

I keep all my now out of support and supported Macs on Mojave so far. No hiccups, but I don’t know how long I can take since MacOS support for older OS is generally short.

With the switch to Arm, you are in a world of pain without yet realizing it. Timmy is going to throw you under the bus for sure very quickly. :(

Anyone else only seeing "10.16" as an option to install rather than 10.15.6 beta 3?
Something strange also for me: Software Update is proposing "10.15.6 Public Beta 1" (but I already am running Beta 2 19G46c), in my case the message is in italian.

I found that:
  • Power supply needs to be direct (no hub)
  • Video signal needs to be direct (no hub)
    • Also needs to be DP or T3 (not HDMI)
Using USB-C hubs for data and peripherals only work fine.

That should't be the case, Apple broke it. My hub works fine for the most part then drops out. Ive sent my mbp back has it was breaking m work flow. The hub works perfectly fine on my dell xps 13 both windows and linux.

I have a Recovered file folder in my trash every time I start my Mac. This time it is ContextStorAgent.plist.IME9zHF. Is anyone else having this issue with the public beta?
