Wow almost sounds too good to be true? I’m on AT&T so my phone is probably locked, sure would be nice to try both out though because AT&T is terrible around here where you need it most.
AT&T is my main carrier. Always purchase an Unlocked iPhone!

It's the real deal. I love it. Last month I signed up for Verizon Wireless. This month I signed up for T-Mobile. It's all FREE! It works flawlessly simultaneously!

@redbeard331 Try calling AT&T. Request to speak to Technical Support Senior Advisor. Let them know you would like to have the Networking Data Refreshed and Change the Cellular Tower. They will do it from the cellular side. After it's completed, restart your iPhone.

Do you notice any impact on battery life running two sims concurrently?
Not that I can tell. Battery on my 14 Pro is way worse (more than linear "smaller battery vs. bigger screen") than my prior 11 Pro Max, and worse than 12 (non-Pro), but slightly better than 13 Pro.

But I've thought about testing it, especially since a single cellular radio can drain battery if there is a weak signal.

Related to this, when you turn a SIM "off", it's literally like ejecting a physical card - everything gets completely reset with the network upon turning on again.

You can't do "partial airplane mode" by "pausing" a single SIM.

It's all or nothing.

I get about 2-3 in busy areas on ATT, or it’s so bad I can’t even get Speedtest to even do it’s thing.
I find that bars ≠ actual performance.
With that said, in my house, 1-2 bars does appear to degrade battery more than 3-4 bars (edited because I thought there were 5, not 4...).

Hi everyone,

After installing the latest betas on both iPhone 13 Pro Max and watch series 7, the watch battery widget is disclosed hollow on the iPhone screen. Only the increasing-decreasing ring is visible. No watch icon inside.

Anyone else has this issue?

Regards

I will give this a try, I’ve always wish I could give the other carriers a try to see which one works best around here. Many thanks and you just won a free years supply of double mega Canadian chicken burgers with extra lettuce!!!

On it!!! 👍👍

If you have an unlocked iPhone which supports esim.

Or Verizon for 3 days! It works flawlessly! Zero costs!
One note - the trial performance was actually better than real life. I’m on a good 5G plan - not starter - and VZW went from 600-800 in my village to 400-600.
Also highway coverage is a bit less.
Sure still fast but not as good as it was.
Seems like they’re playing games with PRI.

Btw I tried the network tower refresh request, and the advanced guy at AT&T was looking at towers in Canada or New York State (based on an intersection he was referencing).

The fact is that AT&T ran out of money after LTE. Their performance is 1/4 to 1/30 of Verizon in my area, Charlotte, and Dallas, where ATT is based.

All the 5Ge and 5G+ nonsense has come to a head.

I don't think so - they're still deploying LTE bands, especially due to the FirstNet contract. 5G+ is also going to expand in the near year or so with their C-band holdings.

I have FirstNet and T-Mobile, but I've used all 3 of the carriers and AT&T outperforms the others by a long shot in my area and I'm based in NYC. It's all area dependent.

I very respectfully disagree.
AT&T - even by their Dallas HQ and key locations - is well under 200Mbps.
I have hundreds of speed tests on the newest iOS and android devices.
Yet Verizon is - in most areas but surprisingly not in Florida - over 400Mbps (sometimes 3.5Gbps+).
I can’t speak to T-Mobile outside of Atlanta. but it’s a lot faster than AT&T there.

I’m not sure what you’re disagreeing with, it’s all about the locations. I’m going off my opinions on where I’ve traveled & as @TheYayAreaLiving 🎗 pointed out, each carrier allows you to test the network out at your location to see what works best for you.
