Apple today provided developers with the third betas of upcoming iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, tvOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1, and visionOS 26.1 updates for testing purposes. The third betas come a week after Apple released the second betas.

The new betas can be downloaded from the Settings app on a compatible device by going to General > Software Update.

Apple Intelligence is now available in more languages in the updates, including Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Swedish, Turkish, Chinese (Traditional), and Vietnamese. AirPods Live Translation also works with Japanese, Korean, Italian, and Chinese (both Mandarin Traditional and Simplified) in iOS 26.1.

Liquid Glass has been expanded to the Phone app's keypad, Apple Music has a new swipe gesture for changing tracks, and there are visual changes to Calendar, Safari, and Photos. Details on what we've found in iOS 26.1 so far can be found in our iOS 26.1 feature list.

The iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1, macOS Tahoe 26.1, tvOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1, and visionOS 26.1, betas will be released later in October.

In Beta 2 it wouldn't allow me to approve any in app purchase requests coming from my kids. It would say "Not Signed In - Sign in with the Apple Account you use for Family Sharing." I logged out and logged back in under iCloud, App Store, and Media & Purchases but could only approve it from my Macbook. Did anyone else have that issue with beta 2? I'm hoping it was just an issue with that specific beta and it would be resolved with beta 3.

LOL
I always wondered how 馬 sounds different than 马.

All jokes aside, anyone have a clue what they mean with Simplified Mandarin? Cantonese ...?

Sorry, mine worked fine on B2 (17Pro)

EVERY time a new beta or OS is released there are a dozen or so posts "I don't see it yet ... not here yet ..."
Nothing more to say
Yeah, and killing the process effectively fixed it . What's your point ?

I don't like waiting when I can actually fix issues and figure out where the bugs lie. As I did

And most of the time , when people say the update isn't here yet, it's because MacRumors posts it too early (planned post ) to gather more views , and typically happens with major updates

I saw this as well in beta 2. Had to approve from my wife’s phone. Just updated to beta 3, so hoping it’s fixed.

Edit: I’m able to approve requests again.

4.31gb on my iPhone 17 Pro, coming from 26.1 beta 2. Fairly quick download, now preparing.

Apple TV app gets a new (more colorful) logo. But Apple TV+ branding still in the app. Apple is so inconsistent 🙈

I had the same issue. Seems to have fixed the issue with this beta
