In Beta 2 it wouldn't allow me to approve any in app purchase requests coming from my kids. It would say "Not Signed In - Sign in with the Apple Account you use for Family Sharing." I logged out and logged back in under iCloud, App Store, and Media & Purchases but could only approve it from my Macbook. Did anyone else have that issue with beta 2? I'm hoping it was just an issue with that specific beta and it would be resolved with beta 3.
Yeah I had this issue on the Public Beta 2.

iPadOS 26 was mostly a step back IMO. I'm glad they are adding back slide over apps, but I would be even more appreciative for an option for simplified window management like in iPadOS 18. I don't need to be able to resize an app from every side like the left side which conflicts with back gestures. I should not be able to move most of the app window off screen -- that is MS Windows 11 level jank. Come on Apple... 18 positioned and resized apps in a smart way for touch. 26 feels like it just wants me to use it like a laptop but without any real laptop OS features.

Completely wrong. Only with iPadOS 26 has the iPad become a truly relevant device for me. Before that, it was just a nice toy. Everyone sees such devices and systems differently. I really hope that this trend continues and that the iPad and Mac devices become even more similar. With the new Windows Management on the iPad, I am getting closer to my goal of working in parallel. Before, this singular way of working was far too restrictive for me. I want to be able to decide whether I want to focus on working with one app or do several things at once. Now I can.

Safari’s liquid glass turned into glass shards after this update😭😭😭

that's not the issue. it releases for everyone at the same time. I had to Open Activity Monitor and search for 'UpdateBrainService'. Force Quit.
No, it doesn't release for everyone at the same time. It takes time for to update image to propagate to update servers around the world. It's not an instantaneous kind of thing.

If anyone has the latest Tahoe beta, does the Music app (formerly known as iTunes, not the streaming service) still have the UI problem with the playlist duration being at the bottom of the list, where you have to scroll to see it? Thanks!

I want both. Can I please have both? If I'm trying to do real job work, I need three windows onscreen and I can use the new system to do that. If I am watching a video/show/movie and want to quickly look something up, it's far easier to just do a quick slideover of Safari on top of the fullscreen video playing, than go through the numerous steps necessary to make that happen in the new system.

Buy a new iPhone in August if you really need one and update the OS the next August if you really want to.
This year long iPhone merry-go-round we go through each year starting in September with new unfinished software - is insanity.
Software is never finished. Well, I guess it IS once it’s done being developed. Like iWeb, for instance. That software is finished!

Some folks think OSX was a step back from OS9. I mean, the first version didn’t even support PCMCIA cards, so they must have rolled everything back to OS9 by now, right?

Anyone know if they’ve fixed the weird visual bug with dark icons where going home doesn’t immediately draw the Liquid Glass border until the icon stops moving?
It bugs the crap out of me.

what the iOS 26 betas did to my 15 pro's battery will forever make me not trust betas anymore. even the full release of iOS 26 never fixed it. I have the 17 pro now and no thank you. I'll wait till official release from here on out. I'm scarred for life with betas now.
