A Playlist Playground feature in Apple Music lets you generate songs for any idea, mood, emotion, or activity using a text-based prompt. There's also a Concerts Near You feature for finding local shows, and a redesigned look for albums and playlists with full-page artwork.

Generate songs or playlists of songs? Very big difference. I assume Apple is not entering the business of many of its customers.

While using the weather home screen, notifications now have black text, making them readable against cloudy or blue-sky wallpapers. They had been white.

Not true in the slightest. It improves a lot of things that were a bit iffy in prior 26.x releases. Also, no idea why you put update in quotes, but it is a good update.
Keyboard hit boxes are still a s show, autocorrect still exchanges correctly spelled words with nonsense words that don't make sense in context of the rest of the sentence, still can't disable liquid glass entirely, all the promised "Intelligence" upgrades still a no show.
So no, this "update" does nothing to address the majority of average user complaints directed at iOS 26 so far.

EEE Beta not working for anyone else, still? Toggling RCS Messaging alone doesn't also toggle EEE Beta and when I toggle it manually I get the Waiting for activation message under RCS Messaging and it stays that way.

Testing with my Pixel 8 Pro with latest Google Messages Beta, it shows RCS messaging on both sides but I don't get the lock simple on the message to indicate EEE is working.

- App store bug is fixed where loading of any section was extremely slow.

- However, if you use your iphone in a language other than your account's language, name of search tab in app store is still not in the language of your device but in the language of your account. no issues with other tabs.

- in spotlight, a bug where preventing "Top Hit" and "Conversion" sections to show up, is fixed.

- in home screen, after exiting the home screen edit mode, edit button was getting stuck on left or right top corner of the screen sometimes. it seems fixed now.

so 3 of 4 bugs i noticed are fixed with this beta. so far so good.

Liquid Glass is never going to be able to be disabled entirely. Its a great looking design that just needs more refinement, just like what happened with iOS 8, 9, etc, when the new flat design introduced in iOS 7 got further refinements and improvements. Its like asking if you could turn back on the skeuomorphic look that was commonplace in iOS 6 and prior in iOS 7. Just not going to happen.

Also, if you are having so many issues with autocorrect, you could just turn it off. And I have had absolutely zero issues with the keyboard hitboxes on my 16 Pro Max so I have no clue or idea as to what you mean by that, but then again I have a lot of the keyboard stuff turned off, including character preview and autocorrect, so maybe thats affecting things.

And the intelligence stuff will show up when it does. I don’t very much care for the intelligence stuff at all so it doesn’t bother me.

What’s with these file sizes? It says 12gb, but it’s a delta update. And it seems like it’s downloading a little to quickly to actually be 12gb.
I think this is a bug, the size is actually much less. I also got 12.x GB on my iPhone and I have very bad internet at home, yet it downloaded within 10 minutes
