Ambient fan here... is that music feature like Endel? Meaning it's generative ambient compositions like Brian Eno's earlier 2008 iOS app Bloom, and Endel more recently? Or is just playing canned loops? Curious to see and hear this.

For those of you who use iAWriter: iPadOS 18.4 Beta 3 makes the software unusable. As soon as you type in the editor area to edit a text, iAWriter crashes. If you are using the software for production purposes, you should therefore not put at least one device into beta mode or go back to 18.4 beta 2 (if this is still possible at all). A bug report was created under FB16820947 (IPadOS 18.4 Beta 3 makes iaWriter unusable)

Who ever said this was coming? Apple's pace of innovation this year is staggering. iOS 18.4, with the INCREDIBLE new priority notifications, emojis, ambient music, mail sorting, and BRAND NEW AppleNews+ Food, looks to be the BIGGEST leap-forward in iOS 18 since iOS 18 debuted!

I’m just happy they got putting Home Screen icons where I want them (mostly), better control center, and RCS for TMobile MVNOs out the door.

I’ll see Siri in 2030 or so.

The fact that Apple messed it up and has not fixed it has me contemplating going back to Android (along with not being able to move pictures in the Photos app).

Unstable beta for me. Apps became unresponsive, internet would not load, etc. Downgraded back to 18.3.1.

The update to iAWriter 7.2.13 reenables the software to be used again under the iPadOS 18.4 Beta 3.
