yeah the random freezing issue. i probably encountered that once a day. still hasn't isolate the problem yet. hope it is fixed in this upcoming updates.
Just the time writing this post, Mac OS X freezes AGAIN. Completely. I can only use Atom at this time and trying to use any other app will cause infinite beachball. This is probably the third time I have encountered in a single day.

On 10.11.5 beta 3?

Still nothing in the UK.

Perhaps it was a mistake in the article and it went out to Devs only? Can anyone who's in the Public beta who got it confirm?

Ignore this post, apparently I have a dev account I never knew about...

The only problem I've experienced in El Capitan, is dictation, which I use all the time, randomly stops working. Apart from that it's been great.

Also missing the Beta..
Tried to reinstall beta profile twice now, can't even see beta 2 in the resent update list
I am on 15F24B
Maybe a bug with the updater?

Reboot did nothing. Strangely however, NVRAM reset and reboot and all appears normal again - showing in app store again:

Yeah, we asked for Public Beta, which you claimed you had, but the screenshot is for the developer beta.

So, no one have confirmed the Public Beta yet, i don't think it is released yet

You're right! My bad, only question is how?

As I'm not a developer (I thought you had to pay for that?) and have only ever enrolled to the public beta programme to my knowledge.

The confusion continues... for me anyway haha - Sorry for false hope guys I genuinely didn't notice this :(

I will still try the reset when i get back to my Mac. Maybe I at least will end up getting beta 2

Anybody know if this fixes the "freezing" issue that a lot of Macs suffer from since the last El Cap update?

This should go away as it gets warmer now on the East Coast.

Seriously though, I think it may be related to memory and some of the apps. While Apple claims 4GB is enough, when too many apps are open and depending on what task is running it hangs.
Typical "not responding" for me is Excel and Word, sometimes pdfPenPro and Adobe Reader DC (not the best btw)
This is running El Cap on a 2008 MBP with 8 GB (recognized 6GB)
