if only devs from Spotify would break the silent treatment and tell us whether they are working on it or not.

Seriously, at this point it's beyond infuriating Spotify isn't optimised for M1. It runs ok through Rosetta, but eats more battery than it should and what's probably more important taxes heavily memory and swap. With all this fuss about the excessive writes to SSD it makes me uneasy...

It's more likely apple just created the dialogue box or the string so that they can use it in a later release once apples products have made the transition. Apple only kept rosetta 1 from OS X tiger to OS X Lion. Most likely Rosetta 2 will only be available for 3-4 software versions or even less if they are trying to make the industry move faster towards their silicon.

True, but Tiger came out in 2005 with Lion coming out in 2011. That is six years. More over there are a bucket load of Intel MacMinis on the refer section of Apple's website from 2018. This means odds are they will be supporting Intel (ie Rosetta) three years past the last referb just to make the transition smooth for those who realize the Intel Macs are useful only for old likely will never be updated software.

I'm curious about potential resolution of the reported (and personally experienced) bluetooth issues on the new M1 Mac Mini. Mine were not resolved, even through 11.2.2. Anyone seeing those resolved with this latest beta?

On new Intel iMac the dock doesn't drop out of view on shutdown and rebooting. Eyesore, but ugly. Apple has struggled with this on and off with their OS forever.

Maybe one day they'll fix the issue with external monitors where the screen resolution reverts to incorrect resolution after sleeping or turning off the screen (on the external monitor).

I don't understand the issue. "Automatically hide and show the Dock" isn't working when checked?
