My wrist is never sticking to the same size throughout the day so I have no idea how people manage to wear this so comfortably. I start my day wearing the watch with a normal sports band 4th to last hole. By afternoon I need to tighten it to the 2nd to last hole. Is it the blood flow from sitting on the desk all day? I don’t know

There’s a new Attelage Hermès double tour band in orange, as well. :)

They can’t even deliver the Solo loops in a timely manner and are launching new ones... First you should get your act together Apple!

I am still skeptical of the solo loop. I love my original polylastimer (or whatever) sport bands, but I would need to see the new solo loop in person.
i was extremely skeptical too as i thought the sport bands worked just great &
these bands seemed unnecessary. the solo loop is lighter, thinner and more comfy! you just need to find the right size. based on the sizing down strategy, i should have been a 5 but 6 is perfect.

This is encouraging! Thank you! I may have one on my Christmas list!

Indeed. The difficulties is compounded by the fact personal preference plays a big role. For example I measured a 6. Based on everyone’s recommendation online to size down by 1 I’d probably be best served with a 5 but when I tried it on I preferred the 4 and went with that. I *could* have worn the 5 probably, and the 6 would have also fit if I was into a lose fit as some are. As someone that likes to wear a band tight, two sizes down worked for me.

It’s going to be hard to account for that, and peoples preference may change based on the bands materials or other factors.

Tha's all true, but I personally find that if it not at lease snug, you will not get good readings from the sensors. When I used the original sport band, if I didn't tighten it up 1 hole before going for a walk, I would get erroneous plus readings. It would say 79 and then 2 seconds later say 165.

Yeah, the name is definitely obscure, but that color I really like. One band that Apple offers years ago was ‘Cocoa’ (Now discontinued), and that seems to be kind of close to that shade, which interests me.
It is not in the least obscure.

Less obscure than ever since its use as a reference to a certain person of non-natural colour. (Trying very hard to avoid making inappropriate comments for the thread.) And, indeed, by the same person.

Both on the way! My Solo Loop shows delivering Thursday (tomorrow), so it's actually ahead of schedule! When I ordered it last night, it showed a delivery date of Friday, Nov. 13th. Hopefully, I'll have both the iPhone and the band on Friday🙏🏾😊!

Apple's silicone bands are extremely uncomfortable -- unless you never sweat or never need your skin to breathe. Be forewarned -- switched mine out.
The predominant issue is that people tend to choose a size or two too small given the confusion on solo loop sizing. That prevents any breathing as the loop cannot move at all. It also helps to give the silicone a wash before starting to wear it.
I have both the braided and silicone solo loops since day 1. While i personally prefer the braided version both are more comfortable to wear that any other ones that Apple offers - YMMV

I’d agree with that, I find the solo loop very comfortable 😃
