In a recent episode of Apple TV+ series "Ted Lasso," Jeremy Swift's character Higgins briefly poked fun at actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchasing Welsh soccer club Wrexham AFC last year.

That led Reynolds and McElhenney to respond on Twitter with a humorous letter teasing legal action unless Apple sent over two large boxes of Ted Lasso biscuits.

Wrexham AFC today confirmed that Apple has followed through, sending 50 boxes of the famous Ted Lasso biscuits to players.

In the TV series, titular character Ted Lasso won over AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton by giving her shortbread biscuits every day, which he baked himself.

The second season of "Ted Lasso" is currently streaming on Apple TV+. Six episodes have aired so far, with a new episode coming each Friday.

<Humor> Hmmm. Did Apple fire all its lawyers and decide just to settle out of court from now on? First, settling with Japan, then the App Store class action, and now this! 😀 </humor>

This season has kinda overstayed its welcome so far imo
Then stop watching it. Glad I was able to help.

For my wife and I we look forward to Ted Lasso night each Friday and are amused by this fun banter between creative teams. I like that in this mad world not everything and everyone needs to be negative and cynical. It is a nice break.

I'll do as I please -- thanks for your insight though.

Don't let me rain on your parade of a good tv night with the wife though, that sounds genuinely sweet, and I enjoy a good watch with my lady myself.

Anyways:

I appreciated the warmth of season 1, season 2 seems... saccharine though. There is such a thing as overdoing it and I think they went there. The mid season xmas episode especially was a big roll eye for me.

I guess what I mean to say is season 1 >>> 2 so far.

I like Jason Sudeikis enough and it does have some good moments enough that I'll continue watching, and also out of curiosity out of what makes people rave about this show in addition to a lack of stuff to watch in general - but none of this on account of needing your consent or anything lol.

I found this pretty funny too. Though I never suspected he was CGI myself, his character is absurdly stiff beyond the intended comic relief even perhaps.
