Hello, sorry to butt in on your tirade. It must be pointed out, however, that Wrexam is in Wales.

Which is it's own country- its next to England. If you look at a map its to the left of England, ironacally like a stomach, a leading factor in developing diabetes.

It is also pretty oil-less so as yet has not been invaded by the USA, and as such having biscuits deposited within Wrexham will have no impact on your countries diabetes epidemic.
It’s also a real life Swamp of Sadness.

And for those on both sides of the Pond who don't know, what the Brits call biscuits are what we Americans call cookies. What we Americans call biscuits are basically round cakes of bread leavened with baking powder, baking soda, or sometimes yeast. Perhaps the closest British equivalent to an American biscuit would be the scone.

Well I never knew an American biscuit is a scone over here or equivalent of 😀

I hope they’re better than the real thing, because the actress who has to eat them almost every ep said they are godawful in real life.
I heard (on the “Football is Life” podcast over on The Incomparable) that while the first few batches weren’t great, the quality did improve over the season. And if you follow the “official “ recipe, they are apparently quite good.

Also, given some of the responses in this thread, Apple—and I mean all of Apple including every division—is apparently not allowed to have fun at any time. Furthermore no one at Apple is allowed to do *anything* that doesn’t support the mission of making computers, phones or software. They are only allowed to do exactly what we want them to do and anything else is a waste of time and money. /s

oh boy!
Load up on that bread and highly processed HIGH CARB MEAL.
Not Lean protein like one should be eating.
It's why the USA has a diabetes epidemic.
They keep pushing SUGAR and HIGH CARBS.
It's not all or nothing. One can eat healthy and also have some snacks at times. It's a TV Show and a publicity stunt. It's going nothing to do with the food troubles in the USA. Otherwise I agree with you, but I don't think this is the time or place.

I will say though, that I love a good biscuit and these do make me want one. Haven't had one in a looong time.

junk show. another marketing gimmick. I am cancelling appletv streaming service shortly as the free one year subscription is about to run out. worthless streaming service that only fan boys would love I suppose.
Each to their own. I personally think its one of the best shows on tv. Couldn't really give a crap about which streaming platform it is on. Weird take.

Also everything is loaded with high fructose corn syrup. It actually changes the gut to absorb more carbs.
Eating lean protein is good, sure. But a diverse and colorful plate is probably better. You will always need some carbs. Better be the good ones like fresh fruit and vegetables loaded with vitamins, minerals and fibers.

I love the show but have zero interest in soccer. This is a funny and cheap marketing idea. Hats off
