How long did we have to wait last time for the stream to be available? I can't remember.

6 hours. Unbelievably long, how hard is it really?

But the time before that it was up just a few minutes after the show.

Let's start StreamRumors.com. I'm predicting it'll take them 4 hours.

On a side note, a professed Apple-hating coworker of mine just said he's tempted to get the new iPhone. I made him promise not to tell me anything, and then I had to do some self-control management to stop myself from going to one of the billion sites right now that are going to spoil it.

I updated my /etc/hosts file on my comp to forward all traffic to any spoiler sites to my localhost. Now I just have to keep my office door locked and headphones in to keep my fellow employees who think it's hilarious to tell me everything about the keynote (and see me get so mad) out.

hahha .. I applaud you :D

So I'm calling that the Apple gods have listened. If I to be in school during the live stream, we don't even get a live stream. :D National Holiday it is. ;)

So I guess the keynote is about to end/has ended. How long is Apples "rendering-time" before the upload is ready? (As I recall it, they are not the fastest..?)

Anything between 20 minutes to 4 hours if history is our guide.

Last keynote was about 2 hours after the live stream ended I believe. But we didn't have a live stream this year so who knows.

Actually not, last time they didn't have a live stream it took them 4 hours.

Okay. That is a funny "evolution" then. Maybe it also depends on "issues" during the keynote. Last time one of the guys had problems with his "small cars". Maybe they are evaluating wether they should cut/edit the videostream when "things are going wrong". Otherwise I dont get the slow pace.

Maybe someone who has been attending a keynote could comment on this: Is the videostream an unedited version of the keynote?
