I have had an issue with my (Apple repaired) MBP M4 MAX display not working the other day. Got an appointment at my next Apple Store right away and it was repaired by the next day at no cost for me. (Yes it was covered by the guarantee but they still helped me perfectly)
I think the Apple service level is exceptional and they are kind and fast helping you, even if I have never had Apple care. For me this is a big pro Apple element when buying their products and paying more for storage and cables. I am a long time Apple user since the Classic II. I don't know any other company in any industry that is so customer accessible concerning service and willing to help.
Thanks to Apple Kudamm, Berlin, Germany.

I somehow damaged the screen on my M4 MBP and took it to an Apple Store last Saturday. The tech said it might take 7 - 10 business days due to the part needed and shipping delays during the holidays. I had the machine back Wednesday. Very surprised and happy with the total experience. It took a little of the ouch out of the repair expense (I did not have Apple Care+).

I have had another great Apple service experience yesterday: My MBP charger's plug got bent mechanically, my fault, I wanted a new part or would have had to buy a new charger. I went to the Apple Store at "Rhein Center" mall at Cologne, Germany, and was kindly directed to ask the genius first. He had the broken part available in his desk with a lot of stuff, just the bent connector segment I needed, and replaced it right away - for free! Fantastic.
Thanks Apple Rhein Center!
