I recently bought my Mac off of eBay, and the person who sold it to me already did the setup assistant for me. he created a generic user, and set all the setup stuff, so when I got my Mac, I didn't see the welcome video, or the setup. I just made my own user, deleted the generic one, and went on. however, it's still bugging me that I didn't get to set my own computer up. Is there a way to delete the old setup files without deleting my user, or booting from the Leopard Install DVD? (which I don't have!)

Thanks... and I always Google before posts... but I want to know how to keep my user account, and do a re- setup. I can't seem to find that.
Using that process will allow you to go through the setup and create an account. Any current accounts will go untouched. I do not recommending an account with a username already in use on the machine though, as it may cause problems.
