As a reporter, maybe you should do some digging and get the scoop on the charger."Less cardboard, less dollars" - Was this Apple's subliminal messaging snuck in for leaving out the charging adapter.
And now you're going to buy a new Mac, iDevice, or Apple service in the next 3 to 6 months.Well that was actually quite enjoyable. It had the desired effect and got me to laugh.

Anyone else notice the new iPhones!!??!? The 12 is used by multiple people
Apple today shared a funny video focused on the problems that people working from home have to deal with, including noisy children, chaotic schedules, communication issues, and more.
The video focuses on showing off Apple products and their capabilities that can be useful when working from home, such as the ability to scan a document with an iPhone, mark up a PDF, Siri Reminders, and more. The seven minute video follows a group of colleagues attempting to work through an important project while overcoming all the problems that come with working remotely, and it comes after a similar "Apple at Work" video that Apple published last year featuring the same actors.
Other highlighted products and features in the video include Memoji, writing with Apple Pencil, Group FaceTime, AirPods, the iPad Pro's measure app, and the sleep tracking feature on the Apple Watch.

it's "humorous" because not one Macbook with its 720p camera was used for this.
As MacBook fans, its so embarassing to see in zoom meetings (and Celebs on national TV) that the most expensive computer in the room is also the one with the worst video quality.
Hopefully Apple wakes up this year and finally updates the decade old webcam and puts something better With the ARM machines.
As much as I agree with your complaint, I feel a need to remind, the display housing (not the entire system) of a MacBook (Pro) is much thinner than an iPad or iPhone. I would guess no more than 50% of the thickness. So, even if Apple had access to FHD and UHD sensors and suitable lenses of that size, they've probably determined it probably wouldn't be a worthwhile expense to ask of customers. The problem with the webcams in Macs is not really the image resolution but the very poor optics/sensors, the whole module is trash sadly, specially if you compare them to the front facing cameras in iOS devices. Anything else but studio lightning and you're transported back to 1999.

man there have been so much better ads than this... kinda sad...
Edited to say that it just feels really bland to me. Just a really basic run of the mill ad. Maybe thats just me though...
