I wonder whether the iPhone X will (annoyingly) change the volume when we do things like turn off the iPhone X by holding the side button and one of the volume buttons. Soft reboots on my iPhone 7 (which are done by holding the side button and the volume down button) always end up running the volume all the way down to zero. I'd rather they left the volume buttons as "volume buttons" and nothing more.

the control center swipe is just plain silly... Top Right swipe down, really Apple? ... why not have it on the bottom, press and hold 3d

It's big screen,, i guess you gotta introduce more silly gestures to make the "use of it" don't ya :D

I guess you could do 3D, but what happens to those that have it turned off?

You start getting into a battle for convenience, but single out the minority like me who disabled all features they can in an operating system they don't use.

And if u force those, by removing the option, well, that's not giving you any option at all

I'm gonna miss touch ID but I won't miss it when I'm running. My sweaty hands never work well with touch ID while running.

Or you can invest on a nice case and ... cheaper, too.:)

For reference’s sake, I had both a case and a privacy screen protector on my 7. Still didn’t stop the screen getting a single diagonal crack when the phone met with the pavement once. And the X has glass on both sides. Good luck with that. And good luck with those unintuitive gestures.

Good video - simple and to the point. I like the point she made around FaceID data not being stored on anything but the phone.

Well done video, and I especially liked how notifications remained private UNTIL you looked at the phone - HUGE plus!
- hopefully in settings you can slightly modify notifcations such that ONLY the notification type is shown, not WHO it is from as well UNTIL glanced at.

Example:
An ex-girlfriend whom decides to message you out of the blue, and you have a jealous girlfriend who sees the name.
A business contact sends an email, and you're in a meeting with a competing company for an RFC. (Cisco vs competing brand for office telecom systems)

Sure you can not date the jealous GF and place phone face down in either situation. But would be a nice option to have in iOS (I think it is there).

I found it weird that the person talking and the hand model were different people.

LMAO! I thought it was specifically smart to have a woman with very short hair and a strong jaw line - as if to show someone gender agnostic in a way? (like choosing siri to be male/female) Probably not a thought by Apple marketing team. She does have a great voice and smile so listening and viewing her presentation is pleasant.

Overall presentation of this guide was excellent simplistic and informative. Looking forward to more from Apple. They used to have a LOT for OSX but killed that a few years back.
