Love the ad. And I LOVE the camera on iPhone 7+. By far, by far the best iPhone camera yet. Still super impressed with the quality.

Here's some of my pics...above

The camera sucks? Really?

They look ok, but zooming full in there's a lot of smear. To be honest I think my P9 takes nicer B&W shots. It does have a dedicated B&W sensor though. For half the money :D

I find the 7 Plus to be pretty hopeless in low light. I was at a restaurant the other night, and my friend and I couldn't quite read the specials chalk board across the room. So we both pulled out our phones to snap a picture to see if that would work - to read it on our phones.

My 7 Plus took a completely illegible pictures. Smeary, compressed, noisy crap.

My neighbor's Nexus 6P (a phone from 2015) took a perfectly readable image, first time.

Just hopeless.

How come the original pictures downloaded from the APPLE webpage have resolution of 6300 × 4725?? Is camera on IP7 / IP7 PLUS support such a high resolution?

No, rear camera is 12MP. You seem to be saying those images are 29.8MP? I'm out right now so can't confirm.

Again, big thanks to Apple for blessing, err, I mean, "sharing" an Ad with us.

I also want to give props to Budweiser for sharing their ad during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
There was a chance they were going to withhold it from us, but they finally relented.

The 7 and 7 Plus cameras are good, but have their shortcomings. The most frustrating one to me is the inability to take photos of moving targets, even in good light. It's like they have problems focusing so they take longer to shoot after you hit the capture button, and 80% of the time the subject is either blurry or not in the shot at all.

In addition, it does have a tendency to blow things out a bit in good lighting, due to the effort to bring in more light. I find the 6S' photos outdoors, in general, tend to be more balanced and better overall - plus it can catch a moving target!...

Very nice shots for sure, but keep in mind the disclaimer at the end "additional hardware used". And clearly evident, some shots have used additional lighting, amongst other things.

So don't expect to achieve these kinds of really great results with just the iPhone7.
Hmm, I did miss that. I'll need to go back and check for the ever common "screen images simulated" disclaimer as well.

Proper lighting really is everything when it comes to taking great photos. Even the iPhone 3GS was able to handle a fashion-quality photo shoot when the right lighting rig was used—with incredible results:

Obviously today's iPhone 7 camera tech has come a long way since 2009, but there's A LOT of Apple marketing at play in these ads, too.

One of the absolute best shots we have of our kids was with my wife's iPhone 5. She wasn't trying b/c she's not a professional, but the lighting just happened to be perfect at the perfect time and perfect angle, and it looks incredible. Better than so many shots on newer phones we've had.

All that to say... you speak truth! ;)

Wow! I've never been able to take such good photos.

You can, you have to plan your shoot, and some lighting equipments. :)
