Lot of sceptici. Working for the competition, look the premise is simpel, the images are signed so Apple cannot change one bit after the audit, if they do it will be noticed in an instant, it would be devastating to their Privacy and security stance. Now having said that, will there be issues, of course, made by humans so expect some security issues that will be discovered even after they went into production, and they will be fixed and audited, rinse and repeat …
Sadly I used to believe that but no longer don they’ve already been busted a few times. People just go “duh it’s a tech company”
And move on.

So these aren’t bugs. This is built in. Not sure what you mean about backdoors bc that’s irrelevant because:

This seems very spectacular until you realize there was no way the third party could do something at scale with it, except make siri better, no data mining or what ever malicious intent, was it clumsy of Apple not to mention it in the first place sure … was it usable for something other than making voice recognition better, NO

Yeah logical if you sign in to iCloud and the App Store … which by the way use your own data to propose relevant information, if you do not want this do not sign into these services, but then again why even bus a smartphone …
