Ehm, but what about when lid is open? T2 helps nothing if I understand correctly.

There is a reason when you see an interview of Mark Zuckerberg, or Tim Cook... or any of those guys in their office, you will notice they have a piece of tape over the camera.

I use to have a hard time believing people that claimed their computers would show them ads on the internet based on what they were conversing about with their friend a few hours ago. I had a coworker who claimed that their computer started showing them ads for cat food after they had just talked to their wife about needing to get some cat food at the store. Seemed ridiculous to me. Seeing the amount of effort that Apple is putting into shutting off access to your microphone now has me wondering. This is kinda pissing me off and freaking me out at the same time.

Agreed. And the camera is even scarier. As I mentioned to someone else... I've seen interviews of both Zuckerberg and Cook that took place in their offices, and if you looked at their personal computers in the background, you could see tape covering their cameras.

I wonder if they have tape on their phone (front) camera too?

I have a number of coworkers who use their laptops in clamshell mode, and connected to external monitors. What happens then? Will they have to get external microphones?

With PowerBooks and MacBooks this never made any sense S socks are scarce and even more importantly Docks with actual power buttons that could wake a MAC notebook up from full power off to On without having to open the lid, connect an LCD ornother peripherals and then logon and then close the lid.

Such a waste of time for something so efficient for daily use when you have a proper dock.

Some apple docks don’t proper offer this and haven’t for almost 20yrs.
