... and yet my wife plays that album non stop for Christmas.
I was about to say, I feel like she hasn’t aged in like 20 years. Camera angles, lighting and make up, followed by long distance shots are all amazing tactics.

Well you may not like her ... but she can STILL sing very very well (even after getting thicc over the years). Let see YOU try to sing one of her songs or anything in this Xmas special even close! Put your words "her tiem has passed" where your mouth is.
She hasn't 'passed' in her singing career, she's just raising her child and focusing on what's important to her, not her fans every 6mths.
Y'all KNOW Jermaine Dupri gonna be in this ... he cannot stand a day without seeing her. He's still got a thang for her lol.

She might, or even you, try what I do/did, bet she/you can't do what I do/did.
And yes, I accomplished a thing or 2 in my life, I cycled around the world (>60.000km) on a pushbike for 4-5 years, there are more (Edit)A gazillion more (/Edit) people singing than traveling the world on a pushbike!

I had close to 40 Kg with me, Mariah didn't weigh that much more back then, now on the other hand.
Haha I just love all the Mariah trashing. Hello MR forum members. Nobody cares what you have to say in regards to hating Mariah Carey. The truth is she has become a staple for Christmas songs and her song "All I want for Christmas is You" has been the biggest hit and still is since it came out over 25 years ago. People expect to see her on TV during the holidays so get over it and stop thinking that as long as MR members hate her everybody else does. Apple knew exactly what they are doing. Good thing none of you are running Apple.

well done. Would like to see a thread or a book about your travels and experiences realizations and hardships during that bike extravaganza
Ultimately, I think this is a good thing for Apple TV+. Whatever personal opinions on may have of Ms. Carey, she still has a large fan base, plus those of the other artist appearing in the special. Those viewers will definitely stream this special...and possibly casual fans or families looking for general Christmas content.
Every year broadcast networks feature a Christmas special by an artist. This year Dolly Parton & Carrie Underwood have new specials. Before it’s been Michael Buble, Pentatonix, A Country Christmas, etc. These specials always pull in numbers. Like Hallmark Christmas movies, some people like any holiday themed content.
Not all content on every platform will appeal to everyone person. I’m glad they’re just continuing to add content regularly.

Nice thing is, I get to choose whether I watch it or not. For me there’s nothing on Apple TV+ that has caught my attention so far, so I don’t have it.
Haha that's rich coming from a forum member who's reddish pink "M" forum name initial greatly resembles Mariah's.
Still waiting for Disney to release the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special in HD with the Boba Fett cartoon. Saw it in person as a child.
