Apple today shared the first full trailer for animated film "Wolfwalkers," which is coming to Apple TV+ on Friday, December 11, and will be premiering in theaters "soon."

"Wolfwalkers" is an adventure movie about a young apprentice named Robyn who travels with her father to Ireland to wipe out a pack of wolves. When they arrive, Robyn meets a girl who can transform into a wolf at night and starts questioning her mission.
In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack. While exploring the forbidden lands outside the city walls, Robyn befriends a free-spirited girl, Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe rumored to have the ability to transform into wolves by night. As they search for Mebh's missing mother, Robyn uncovers a secret that draws her further into the enchanted world of the WOLFWALKERS and risks turning into the very thing her father is tasked to destroy.
Apple acquired the rights to "Wolfwalkers" in 2018, with the film coming from Cartoon Saloon. Cartoon Saloon has also created "The Secret of Kells" and "Song of the Sea," and like these films, "Wolfwalkers" is based on an Irish legend.

"Song of the sea" is one of the best animated movies I have ever seen. My kids loved it. I would recommend anyone go check it out. These are the same people that made that film. I am looking forward to watching this with my kids!!

I will echo this comment. Song of the Sea was great and gorgeous, very deserving of the best animated film nom they got. That in and of itself convinces me to go watch this when it comes out. I'd much rather my nieces watch that than something like The Minion Movie or something similar. At the same time, I can definitely conceive this is not everybody's cup of tea.

Looks heartwarming. Not the most gorgeous graphics you would expect these days but still pretty. I’ll give it a try.
Conversely, I LOVE this style and am I huge fan of Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea. These aren’t “graphics” either, rather painstakingly hand drawn animation. The artistic choice is intentional, with cultural and historical significance.

Whether I end up watching this particular movie or not, I'm really happy to see AppleTV producing classic frame-by-frame animation, both this particularly analog-flavored style and the more traiditional Snoopy show.

Another boring series I won’t look forward to.

I want more series like Foundation
They are going to screw it up. But it’s weird looking back. Not sure how well it holds up. Thought it was great in high school but as got older it got less impressive.

This looks like the most predictable thing ever. Even my kids are too jaded for this sort of unoriginal narrative.
