Cool. I really liked the other two series and was hoping they'd make this one. I also really like that they're riding electric bikes this time. It'll be interesting to see what kinds of shenanigans they get themselves into.

One of the biggest things I took away from the original series was that a $1,000 Russian POS bike is better off road than a BMW GS (and that it's much easier to do massive trips like this if you have virtually unlimited resources and a big crew following you the entire way) :)

Can’t wait for this, loved both the previous two series and this trailer for series three looks great. Will be my first watch on Apple TV too, though there’s a couple of things on there I might take a look at too when the winter nights roll in.

Apple are doing really well on quality content. Sure, not everything is for everyone, but they buy or make high quality filming, high quality actors. They don’t have the quantity of Netflix, but it’s all good quality, unlike a lot of the Netflix garbage. Friday’s going to be a good day (this and Ted Lasso)

KLR650 88-06 all the way! The Russian bike might work great for parts and repair in europe/ex-soviet bloc countries but the KLR anywhere else, hands-down.

The official range of the Livewire is 146mi. Realistically, probably more like 100mi. So their trip will require 130 "fill ups". They must be using those Rivian trucks to charge the Harleys - I imagine there are quite a few stages with no chargers available.

They added a ton of charging stations along the route. Rivian mentioned it on their vid about the project and showed a map of them.

Honestly I'll be paying when my year is up. Like HBO, Apple TV doesn't have a million new shows but the ones they do have are creatively exciting... not everything is a winner for everyone, but nothing feels like throw away filler. They deserve to be applauded and rewarded for that because too much on Netflix, Hulu, and Disney seems like C+ filler just to demonstrate they have new content.

It’s so fun to watch rich people with unlimited resources ride bikes.

Is fun to watch people ride bikes on long journeys full stop. Of course it all stops when I remember that they earn money as actors. How dare they!

I am never done anything that epic but I have done weeks long motorcycle rides in U.S., Canada - Alcan and Cassiar(2 trips), Romania, Ecuador, Japan(3 trips), Ireland, England/Isle of Man.
All I can say is if you ride or are thinking about learning to ride I would 100% plan a trip somewhere in the world on a motorcycle. All my vacation are now spent on motorcycles and it is a blast. You learn so much more riding(you have to) then just going somewhere and maybe renting a car. I am not going to lie it can be expensive to rent or to ß
