Don't forget 28 fortnights later, 28 pay periods later, and the the biggie, 28 "units of what your date swears is 5 more minutes until she's ready" later.I'm still waiting for the sequel/prequel "28 Months Later"
Get used to it. The tech moves faster than the language. If you complain about it every time it happens, you'll sound like a broken record. It wasn't shot on film and therefore was not "filmed." Was it even printed on film? If not, then it isn't a "film."
Zero knowledge, zero information. It wasn't shot on film and therefore was not "filmed." Was it even printed on film? If not, then it isn't a "film."
Tangerine was shot on two iPhone 5s's. Their whole film budget was 100 grandApple’s slant: You can shoot a movie on just an iPhone!
The real horror: $100,000 rig
When the movie Tangerine was released several years ago, Film Festival goers were blown away when director Sean Baker told them the film was shot on 2 iphone 5 s's. People get so hung up on having the right gear, etc, and it stopped them from making a film. With the Moment and Sandmarc lenses and filters, you can do some pretty awesome things. When all you hear about a movie is how it was filmed with iPhone cameras then you know it will suck and save you the trouble of going to see it.
I doubt it. The number one reason is that their old phone is: old (shows signs of wear, bad battery life, slow, no longer supported etc.) The camera is just expected to work. The number one reason people buy smartphone is the upgrade in camera technology every year.
I’ve never heard anyone say they need a new phone just because it’s old. I’ve heard most people say they need a better camera after seeing a beautiful image from a newer phone than theirs. They don’t even acknowledge the rest of the phone. There’s a reason Apple employs 800 engineers just for the camera alone.I doubt it. They might be waiting for the release of the iPhone 28 for that.I'm waiting for the sequel "28 iPhones Later".
A few months ago, we reported that select scenes in the post-apocalyptic film "28 Years Later" were shot with a rig of up to 20 iPhones.
Let's also remember that better images take up more space, and more space requires bigger onboard storage and/or a larger iCloud storage pool to keep them synced.I’ve never heard anyone say they need a new phone just because it’s old. Think "bullet time" from the Matrix movies, but portable. You don't need a big studio setup for it.They had to create a rig of 20 iphones to do what some high end camera could have done? I'm confused.
More and more, it seems that people like to say things that are completely wrong just to stir the pot, or perhaps they are just uninformed. It wasn't shot on film and therefore was not "filmed." Was it even printed on film? If not, then it isn't a "film."
Maybe talk to real people once in a while.I’ve never heard anyone say they need a new phone just because it’s old.
28 OS versions later could be set in the very near future.Don't forget 28 fortnights later, 28 pay periods later, and the the biggie, 28 "units of what your date swears is 5 more minutes until she's ready" later.
I should qualify. I've heard people say their phone is old but it's always in the context of either they need a new battery (which can be easily replaced for cheap and doesn't require a new phone) or they just saw someone take a nicer photo than they did but on a newer phone and they want that too. Please send some real people my way so I can gather more data.Maybe talk to real people once in a while.
