In addition to teasing WWDC 2026 with a new tagline today, Apple has shared a wallpaper, playlist, and a "Get Ready" video ahead of the event.

iPhone, iPad, and Mac versions of the wallpaper are available to download on Apple's website. The wallpaper features a dark color scheme with a glowing Apple logo, which likely hints at Siri's rumored new design coming with iOS 27.

The wallpaper page has a "Glow all out" tagline, which adds to the "All systems glow" and "Coming bright up" taglines that Apple previously shared.

A new "WWDC26 Hello" playlist is available on Apple Music, with more playlists to follow throughout the weeklong developers conference.

WWDC 2026 kicks off with Apple's keynote on Monday, June 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. The company is set to unveil iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27 on that day, and the conference will run through Friday, June 12, with hundreds of developer sessions to be shared online.

The keynote will be streamed live on the Apple Events website — the page is now live. There will also be streams in the Apple TV app and on YouTube.

For developers, Apple has shared a new "Get Ready" video that offers tips on how to take advantage of WWDC, with all content and resources to be released for free as always. While there will be an in-person component at Apple Park for some lucky attendees, WWDC has largely been an online event since 2020.

MacRumors will be attending WWDC 2026 in person, and we will have in-depth coverage of the event as always, so stay tuned.

At least some titles of the playlist seem to tease certain features/technologies:

  • "found/u me" and "WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!" could refer to something about "Find my".
  • "Mr. Know It All" might refer to Siri's new abilities.
No idea about the rest, though. And maybe I'm just seeing things, and it's really nothing but a list of songs that Apple wants to promote for some reason. 🤷‍♂️

I hope we see bug fixes for iPadOS. Since I will be getting my first mac in forever ago, I am going to be keeping and eye on the keynote on monday.

This is the least excited ive been for WWDC in all my years of being an Apple Fan Boy.

Agreed. The wallpapers slap but I think most are hoping this is the final year of the overproduced WWDC recorded keynotes which just feel tired. Hopefully with the passing of the baton to John Ternus we will see a return to at least a partially live event

You got your big update last year and look at how well that turned out... We got a bug ridden OS that still isn't completely stable. As an Apple fanboy you should appreciate the little things that make the Mac better and understand why Apple has to have a slow WWDC every few years. I'm a huge fanboy, and I'm looking forward to a refined OS, that's what is important to me.

Can I just say how relieved I am to see a decent wallpaper design? The wallpaper used on the iPhone and iPad Pro as of late look like they designed by the school for the blind.

The glow effect completely blows out the deep blacks you would normally have on a mini-LED or OLED display. In my opinion, it makes it look like you have a lousy monitor with bad blooming.

For some reason, I can only download the Mac wallpaper. The iPad wallpaper is to the right but no way to scroll over to it. I assume the iPhone wallpaper is further to the right.
