Has anyone received their official "Your Items Have Shipped" email on their iPhone preorders? The last time we preordered was the iPhone 6 launch and we received ours early AM on Thursday morning... and that seems to be the same timeframe last year. I'm curious to see if anyone gets any pleasant surprises.

Apple Shipping Emails Received?

My status still says "preparing for shipment" even though I followed my phone from China > Korea > Alaska > Kentucky.
One of our preorders took the same exact route and is currently sitting in Kentucky. The other one is MIA.
Yeah, it's kind of odd. It used to fly from China directly to Alaska. I saw Korea and was like "wth? did Samsung hijack my plane?"

I hope not. Samsung's been having hardware problems lately.
No email here either which seems unusual...I thought they normally went out 2 days before. Doesn't matter, I looked up the tracking on UPS and mine (watch and phone) show delivery for 9/16 though one is close by (Louisville) and the other is still in Anchorage, AK.
During one of the iPhone launches, my girlfriend didn't get a shipping status until launch day. Don't worry; this is totally normal for Apple. I dom't have a shipping status email, either, but my 7 Plus in in Louisville.
128 GB IP7 silver (probably the easiest supply) ordered 11:56 pm the night of pre-orders, scheduled delivery date 9/16
i got my "shipped" text and email from AT&T this morning.
coming FedEX from Fort Worth, Texas, delivery Friday 9/16 by 3 pm.
Note on the notice is sender requiring it be held until Friday for delivery, so no day before launch day delivery
suspect a lot of IP7 orders got the same messages today

This was for a previous launch, but her iPhone was delivered on time on launch day.
I stand corrected. Ours didn't stop in South Korea... but it did apparently forget something back in China. It went from China, to Alaska, back to China, back to Alaska, and finally on to Kentucky. They forgot the headphone adapter. oops! /turns plane around.
Same with both of my iPhone's. 7 and 7plus
Both say preparing for shipment on Apple
But both are in Kentucky based upon tracking I found using reference (my phone number)
Both being delivered 9/16....
Both ordered by 2:10 AM CST
I'm assuming when the planes take off tomorrow morning for their respective destinations it will kick off the e-mails.
One thing that was kind of odd for me was my Apple watch last year was delivered at 10AM, the 6+ I have now at 7:59PM. Wonder what time the 7+ will get here.

I wanted to see what her delivery confirmation date was as we've had longer than 1 week in the past between day one preorder and day one delivery.
Phones will likely sit in KY all day tomorrow and won't go to the regional hubs until the middle of the night Thurs-Friday.

It's now past 4pm (AEST) on Thursday. My phone is scheduled for delivery tomorrow but still shows as 'preparing to ship' - if they don't ship it soon, it'll be too late!
