Why hasn't this been done? You know how freakin' cool it would be to have a wallpaper store that has more of those Apple-like dynamic wallpapers that animate in cool ways when you wake your screen and go to the home screen? There's only a very small handful of Apple wallpapers that do this and it would be cool if developers could make some and sell them in a sort of Apple Wallpaper Store where you could pay $0.99 or $1.99 for them or something if you really like it.

There could be a short video of the wallpaper in action on the store page, so you would know what you're getting.

How cool would this be? I'd buy a ton of dynamic wallpapers.

I thought using Google Images to find wallpapers would be enough :) There are also Apple fans who curate previously issued wallpapers from Apple.

Apple should just have a repository where all of their previous wallpapers are available to download for free. I’d really like the laser live wallpaper that came with my 13 Pro and it’s silly that it’s not available anywhere.

Perhaps, but this already exists. It's curated by others. I don't know if the 13 Pro wallpaper you talk about is there though.

For example:

Are the live wallpapers available there? I’ve seen still versions floating around but none that animate.

No worries. Do I have to have an X account to get in?
Oh yeah, because it's posted on Twitter/X you will need to get an account. I imagine X accounts are still free? I've had one for years, maybe over a decade. But there are other links all over the web to other sites that curate Apple wallpapers. I just do an internet search on something like "apple wallpapers archive"

I just wish they gave us the option to turn off "Extended Wallpaper".

Lately, Twitter has been giving this error at various times if you click on links in Safari. I'm sure it has nothing to do with 80% of their employees getting fired.

this happens when you are not logged in / do not have an "X" account. Musk has not updated the error messages yet. Basically what happens is that he wants you to have X to see anything

I don't think so. Just really good wallpapers.
You missed the point of my thread then. I know there’s endless free wallpapers out there, but there’s only a few animated ones that come with iOS. I think there should be a place to get more animated wallpapers.

So WallCraft Pro does have "Live Wallpapers" which I believe you are looking for here.

There's no need for a separate store. This is a function of the OS that should be opened up, same thing for setting alternate wallpaper variants for dark mode and light mode.
