I also see “iMac Pro” running Ryzen CPUs on there which doesn’t make much sense lol. Is this accurate?

I thought I read somewhere earlier today on MR that the L2 was 8 MB.

OR maybe that was what was speculated by Anandtech (i.e., the article here on their analysis), I don't remember exactly.

Cleary the clock rate & the Enclosure make a BIG impact !

I had mixed thoughts after yesterday's Apple event but this is incredible. Can't wait for future iterations of Apple Silicon that match or surpass what the current/older Macs with Intel CPUs can do (the M1 is limited to 16GB of RAM, all of the new Apple Silicon Macs only have two USB-C ports, et cetera) so that they eventually surpass them in each and every way.

This is quite incredible.. I was thinking to myself I would hold off on purchasing the first 16" MBP with Apple Silicon but if the M1 is already beating it imagine what the M1Y or M2 or whatever they call the chip that ends up in the refreshed 16" can deliver..

Apple showed what the L1/L2/L3 caches were in the keynote

Can’t wait for a 2022 desktop class Apple chip once they’ve had time to develop and software catches up.
