Apple Silicon MacBook Air/Pro Mac mini Order Status Thread

Same I've been stuck on "Package is delayed in transit. Delivery will be rescheduled." since the 10th. This is day number 5 now. Originally scheduled for Dec 24 to Jan 1. Then when it shipped I was pushed forward to Dec 19. Now it's back to Dec 24 to Jan 1.

2nd generation Shanghai gang?
 
Ordered a base MBA on 11/29 with delivery 12/8-12/15 for Texas. Changed from processing to preparing to ship yesterday. Hasn't shipped yet. Probably not going to receive it tomorrow right?
 
My MBP SG 16/1 (ordered 11/21 and delivering to Michigan) was supposed to be here today 12/14 per UPS's last estimate yesterday, but that has now changed this morning to tomorrow 12/15. Package has been in Narita, JP for a couple days now with no status updates. Apple order page still showing ETD of 12/21. 🤷‍♂️

Last night UPS had a delivery date of today, so I went ahead with paying the few bucks for a delivery window to accommodate my work schedule. Of course now, there's no more date of today, though hoping to be surprised… (and eventually on the phone for a refund.)

Mine still says today. I would not be surprised if it changes.
 
Ordered my MBA 16/512 on 12/9 (Germany).
The status just changed to "Preparing to Ship".
Arrival date is 12/30. I hope it will arrive before Christmas.
 
Ordered: December 2nd 1 am ish
Card Charged: December 14th a bit before 1 am ish
Preparing to Ship: December 14th 1 am ish

I can't find anything on UPS or Fedex like people were saying with my phone number. Are there any links to use to search via phone number? The apps currently don't show anything being shipped to my address.
 
Mine is sitting in HK as well since Dec. 11th. UPS still shows it as to be delivered on the 17th, but I think Apple has it as to-be delivered on the 20th. Will see what happens. But freight capacity out of China is very limited right now with so few passenger flights and various restrictions. And it is not like UPS/Fedex have spare capacity at this time of the year. (Passenger flights do carry some freight)

Same... UPS still says 16th and Apple just updated to 21st this AM. If the channel doesn’t get a big dose of ExLax soon, it may be a holiday bummer.

Expected delivery: was January 4, now December 29

I have my fingers crossed that it will arrive before Christmas. Does anyone know what current shipping times are like to Australia?

Exactly the same here. Got the first delay message on the 10th in Shanghai. Then a “parcel has cleared customs on the 12th” with a delivery estimate of today.
Instead what I got today was the second “parcel delayed” status and it is still in Shanghai.

That means my MacBook has missed flight UPS11 from Shanghai to Cologne (via Seoul) twice already. The next one is leaving tonight.
Let’s see if it misses the third flight as well.
 
Anyone want to skip the line and pick up a slightly used MBP? I've finally received mine on the 8th, and it's really not doing it for me. The number of things that just don't work makes it feel like I really downgraded by going from my 2015 MBP to this machine. MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) 16 GB of Memory. I have until Jan 8th to initiate a return, and I'd currently be surprised if I make it that long.

Google Drive File Stream (for my work account), Google Drive Backup & Sync (for my personal account). I know third party options are available, but they don’t appear to be as reliable/have suspect reliability. Office Editing for Docs, Sheets & Slides (chrome extension that I rely on for some of my workflows), and dual external monitor support. In some ways I feel like I’m being petty by allowing these issues to force a return, but they’re honestly core to some of my main workflows so I’ve become incredibly unproductive on this laptop.

I’m so fully in the Apple ecosystem too, with an iPhone, iPad Pro and Apple Watch, but now I’m thinking of going Windows 10... ugh... why couldn’t this thing just be what I needed it to be right out of the box?!

Mine just switched to "In Transit" and the delivery date got pushed forward to Dec 22.

Edit: The UPS app is telling me that it's delayed again but the UPS website is not.

Edit 2: My delivery date just randomly changed to Dec 21 without any other updates

No doubt future updates will address your issues, but if it's affecting your current productivity that's 100% a non-starter and you shouldn't feel as though you're being petty.

I won't be setting up my new mini and ultrawide (and taking down my existing iMac and external 24") until Friday afternoon when I clock out for two weeks of holidays, because I can't afford to lose productivity during the week if things don't go to plan or some of my core apps don't play nice.

Strange thing happened: UPS had my MBP SG 16/1 "In Transit" in Narita, JP the last couple days, but today the location was replaced by Anchorage, AK. That is to say, Narita is no longer on the tracking page at all. So now I'm wondering, was it even in Narita? Was it still in Shanghai with the intent to go to Narita? But now it's still in Shanghai with a new destination of Anchorage? I'm so confused.

Same thing happened with mine. I've been using UPS' tracking and parcelsapp.com to track my shipment. UPS seems to overwrite the last scan.
