So excited!! Ordered a 8/8/16/512 MBA on 12/27 with ETA 1/28-2/4. It’ll be replacing my mid-13 air. 🙂
Are you all generally seeing the under promise, order deliver? Fingers crossed for an early delivery!

My MBP spent a Monday in Richmond before delivery. I received it on the Tuesday, on UPS's schedule, well ahead of Apple's. You should get it by the 6th for sure.

It arrived today, even though UPS still had it status as 'Clearing Customs.' It's a beaut!

Well my MBP that was ordered on Nov 23 was finally delivered Jan 4. The smaller screen size will take a little bit getting use to but it is a huge difference when coming from a 2012 15" MBP. Everything is so much snappier and I can now play H.265 video's from my iPhone and GoPro.

Even with 16GB of ram and a SSD the CPU just couldn't play 4K H.265 fast enough.

Coming from a late 2012 MBA I can share your excitement.

Hope it will last me as long as the old one. Which still runs alright, it just takes its time to e.g. switch users etc. 🙂

Ordered on the 12/15/20 a MBP 16/1 and it is still processing. Getting slowly impatient but delivery is scheduled between 15th and 22nd. Hoped for a faster shipping but oh well we have the 6th already.

Finally breaking my lurker status now that my order is moving. Figured I’d add my updates in case it helps anyone else hang in there during the waiting game.😅

• 12/8/20: ordered with original delivery estimate of 1/8-1/15
• 1/5/21: status changed from processing to preparing to ship
• 1/6/21: status updated to shipped - Apple says delivery date will be 1/14, FedEx says 1/12, so we’ll see who’s right or if any delays pop up

The charges haven’t posted to my bank just yet, but I did use Paypal as my payment method - the cc authorization has been pending since my order on 12/8. So basically, it was 28 days of just “processing” with no changes or movement at all. I kept seeing people’s posts saying their charges went through after just a couple weeks or less, so if you’re in the same boat don’t freak out if your card hasn’t been charged yet.

I’m near Seattle, fwiw.

They seem to be underpromising, yes. But it's obviously not a guarantee. I ordered the same machine as you and received it 2 days before the beginning of the Apple delivery window. So it worked out in my favour but there are others here who have waited for a month and a half and still don't have it. YMMV. Good luck though! It's worth the wait 😉
