I have been using this case now for like 2-3 weeks.. this is my first Apple case I have purchased. It already has 3-4 dents in it from normal use. I see there are several people on here who seem to buy Apple cases exclusively. I normally spend 10-20 for an off brand, and never had this issue. Does Apple replace cases like this? I personally expected the case to be in like new condition for several months before having a defect. I have seen that cases will be replaced from peeling, or obvious manufacturer issues. But what about dents/gouges from normal use?

I got the elderberry silicone case for my 14 PM. I dropped the phone from my lap onto my wooden dining room floor and a chunk of the silicone came out. I was pretty surprised since it wasn't a great height, the floor isn't stone, and i've never had a silicone case chunk come out from such a minor fall over years of owning them. I contacted apple, sent them the pics and they're sending me a replacement. I'm going to try and exchange it for leather or clear case at an apple store as soon as I get it, if they'll let me. Between the quality and the fact that elderberry looks like a greasy mess after 2 minutes of handling it, I'm not that into it sadly.
I did drop it once. But the drop didn’t result in any dents or gouges. That happened before these even showed up. This is just from having it my pocket or in my purse. I mean it was $50. I guess I just expected higher quality. I guess it can’t hurt to contact Apple and see what they say. I am just disappointed.
Yep that is what I will be getting from now on. I had one on my Xs forever and not a single mark.
My Apple silicon case on my 13PM started to peel around the edges after about 4 months. Never dropped it. Hopefully it won’t occur with the current on I have for the 14PM.
