f you clickon any of arn's links they work and you can get to the site that way.

why you so pissed?

DUDe chill!!! I tried his links! But still wonder what is causing the DNS issue and was wondering if it is affecting more than just Apple?.. Dude, I post an innocent message and you freak! Who needs the meds?

I figured Apple might be doing some major upgrades or testing upgrades for WWDC so I posted the message..

The 970 and Panther could be a whole new look and feel for Apple. and this could be reflected in their web site.

Apple's home page works, but the store is down. Probably taking a hit because of all the people trying to access it. Looking for new G5s.

yeah works...

It was down for over an hour and a half..... Seems to be hit and miss now. Who knows.. Yeah Apple store is still down..

apple.com down

at first i couldn't go on to the apple.com website with safari but i was able to with internet explorer, for some reason .MAC still works, now about an hour and a half later i can't access the site with either and .MAC still works. 10pm pacific time about now

Software Update isn't working either. It says "Can't Connect To The Internet", but I am connected. I think it can't find files on Apple's site.

uh oh, somebody spilled coffee on the keyboard to the xserves. it was probably phil, he has always been a goober.

iJon

I don't know if it means anything, but in the past I would do searches (in fact, just a day or so ago) for the G5, and it would display info. on the G3 and G4 chips instead. I just did a new search using "G5" as the keyword, and it said there were no results found--unlike previous G5 searches.

Anyway, I know this probably doesn't mean anything, but maybe Apple just updated the search engine. I just thought it was interesting.

😕 Weird. I never knew about that. Certainly doesn't sound like an upcoming product or app. 😛
