Sometimes I don’t like large things in my pockets, especially with hotter weather coming when I’ll be wearing shorts. Most shorts have side opening pockets versus top opening pockets like in denim jeans. Even with chinos or dress pants with its side opening pockets things tend to fall out of my pockets, especially when I sit and cross my legs. I have the iPhone 12 Pro, maybe this wouldn’t be an issue if I had the iPhone mini. Anyway, with my dilemma would you use the Apple Sleeve or use a small Man Purse? The Apple Sleeve would carry almost everything I need . . . ID, 1 credit card, 1 banknote, and my iPhone. I’d use the Apple Sleeve wrist strap. A Man Purse would allow me to carry sunglasses, but it’ll be significantly bigger than the Apple Sleeve. Also, I’ve never carried a Man Purse (or any bag) over the shoulder, and I’ve never carried anything with my wrists, so I don’t know how that’s like on a daily basis.

Why not just get a belt pouch? It can hold your phone and cards. Without having to carry anything around on your shoulder.

I mean belt holster. Gotta make it sound as manly as possible. Anyways, I'd rather something that's on me. Not something I'd have a tendency to set down.

You can also switch to cargo shorts.

The apple sleeve case is the most hideous and stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. 🤮

Not practical at all, save your money and get something cheaper, at least it’ll look better than that sleeve rubbish.

Sleeve looks terrible IMO. I wouldn't want it on my wrist anyways - to easy to get bashed around.
Get a decent man bag - not a cheap sports one, a quality leather man bag.

The last time I used a belt pouch was before the iPhone and those old style pouches had to be looped through a belt, so when I sat down, especially in a car seat it wasn't comfortable with a seatbelt. I see they're much better now, where you can clip them on easily and take them off easily. This one from Waterfield is much more money. It uses a loop with a magnet to easily take holster on and off a belt. https://www.sfbags.com/collections/.../ranger-iphone-12-case?variant=32277281341523

I didn't realize that I have a never used fanny/cross over bag that I bought last year. It is a sports type, probably a little water repellant. Coordinates with shorts or a casual look. Meanwhile, I'll be on the lookout for good man bag, maybe one from TUMI?

How have man purses not gone the way of the fanny pack?

Quality light weight backpack for the win.
Come to any of our corporate parks. Tumi, CK, Coach and Louis Vuitton crossbody bags all over the place.

They are useful and don't wrinkle your shirt as much as backpacks do.

I loved sleeves with my BlackBerrys, but that was the end of them for me. I carry my iPhone in my front shirt pocket or in a pocket on my cargo shorts. No fanny pack. And for God's sake, no murse!

I use the Apple Sleeve for protecting my phone when in the pocket. I know many hate the look of it but, it works well and gives the ability to easily use the phone naked. I wouldn't use a fanny pack or man purse. If one is considering a fanny pack, I suggest one needs to drastically downsize what one really needs to carry for daily use.

this is the exact usage I envision with it... sort of a reverse pocket protector. It might not ever have to leave the pocket if you can slip the phone out... but then again, you could use any old leather sleeve for that if you dont use its other features.

Anyways, I', still not buying at well over a hundo. I'll wait for the steep discounts
