Hi,

I have had 2 Apple Smart Battery Cases and my 2nd one just died on me. It literally does not work. I have tried everything Apple has instructed and nothing has worked.

Additionally, Apple apparently no longer sends replacement cases to people whose cases die (then you ship the broken one back to them in the box they sent the new one in).

I have contacted 2 people. The 1st person said it was possible to get it replaced but their "system was not working". I disconnected then because it had been 45 minutes. The 2nd person told me Apple does not offer the replacements for cases anymore.

"And we do not offer it anymore on this accessory."

I then asked if there was anything I could do about it (I believe I paid $99 for it) and was told:

"So what we can do is investigate this one further and see what is going on or we you can purchase a new one at the store"

I then asked again, which is what I wanted in the first place, if I can send it in to be investigated. I was told no.

Any ideas on what I can do?

Thanks,
countryside

For the price of this 'case' it should definitely have a year warranty, that's lame. I bought mine on eBay because I couldn't stomach the full price lol and luckily hasn't given me any issues yet but don't like to see this stuff happening

How long ago did you buy it?
Less than a year ago.
