I want to a clean install on my MacBook (currently running Leopard 10.5.2), but only have the original upgrade DVD 10.5.0. Now i know I can work round having to install 10.4, but is there any place on my current installation with the 10.5.0 -> 10.5.2 software updates as download by sofware update?
Been able to copy these to USB stick etc will save the hours waiting to place up the system.

Also, is it possible to built/addon these patches to install image? can you do apps as well?
For my windows installs I'm big fan of nlite, driverpacks and silent install packages, anything similar?
Cheers

It is possible to have software update keep packages that it has downloaded, but you would probably know if you had done that.

Over time, you would be looking at running a lot of OSX updates in a row on a fresh system, which is why Apple's official downloadable version of OSX update is the cumulative/combo update that can update any minor version to current.
